When the machine freezes, the X program will usually minimize (for lack of a better word) and an error message in Japanese usually appears. A few minutes later, the machine will automatically reset.

Edit: Oh, I'm talking about X here. But the same probably applies for X2.

It's hardly Konami's fault for not translating Windows Embedded under it. Who cares?

Well, what if the error messages are important?

99% of the time it won't be and an arcade operator would most likely just restart the machine when it happens.

It might not apply for X2 but i remember that X JAP edits doesn't work on a US X cab. Even if you try to rename the file or something.
We got several discution on the X (AC) thread a while ago.

Also bag is a good news Even it's not a big deal to me, i'm happy if we have all the songs/charts/ect like the japanease game.

Btw hooky, i never got that situation. I guess i'm lucky. Also, i don't play that much, that's maybe why. But, i sometimes saw the game lagging or freezing (freezes was only after/before a song, not while i was playing).

So I just found out that the characters in the Chinese name for MAX LOVE (功夫) mean "Kung Fu". So...Kung Fu LOVE? What is this I don't even.

Apparently I'll be going to Round1 again tonight (my friend hadn't gone there before and he was REALLY taken with the place. He wants to make a weekly trip out of it).

I'll probably be there from around 11:30PM to 2AM (closing). I'm semi-hoping that X2 might be less populated, but considering that it was getting hefty play last night, I can only imagine it will be the same tonight. Ah well, maybe I'll get some games in.

I encountered roppongi EVOLVED ver. D. This was my 4th or 5th Encore Extra Stage, and the first time I didn't try it on 1.5x but on 2.5x because I hoped ver. D wouldn't appear.

I was with some non-DDR playing friends and they wanted me to play stuff with them and they didn't want to wait in line for X2. Plus I saw you guys were really good and I was like "omg, I do not want to embarrass myself by playing with these people" since I'm not very good lol.

Anyways, I was gonna go tonight, but unfortunately there was an accident on the 60 and traffic was jammed. Luckily we were able to get off at an exit where our friend lives so we hung out there. We are thinking of going on Monday night though.
