This just in: after the latest patch, even when offline the machine still have all the locked songs. i.e. everything is unlocked even when offline... sans the KAC 2ndMIX remixes and 2ndMIX songs (on PRO MODE).

I'm still kind of upset that Nephilim Delta never got a Challenge chart. It would have made a perfect hard 17 or so. Listen closely to the percussion, especially at the end; you can clearly hear distinct, non-random clusters and patterns of 16th notes at 220 bpm. Put a stepchart to that and you've got a very nice tough 17-range song. 16ths at 220 bpm aren't too hard when used in moderation.

Yayyy, now our local arcade can upgrade from DDRX, and we can find out just how weird the new interface looks on a 4:3 monitor.

"Give me a steady beat."
Hopefully he doesn't mean installing a 16:9 kit into a legacy cabinet.

Someone did the reverse here... installing legacy software to a 16:9 cab. Boy, 'twas ugly.

Also I just realized that the append travel songs doesn't have their challenge charts when offline (in reality they still need to be unlocked so)

Interesting... 紅焔 and Cosmic Hurricane are the two songs on the colette location test that aren't in the gane yet so maybe those two will be part of a crossover event. And hype for Qrispy.

紅焔 and Cosmic Hurricane are part of the pop'n music Sunny Park & REFLEC BEAT colette crossover event. It's quite interesting to find them here, though Tongue

Nice, some bgvids! Unexpected surprise, and great job Ray! Is it possible we'll get the rest of the vids from the X3v2nd mix songs besides these 3?

Laughing Out Loud Have you *ever* played 888 Challenge before? Like, on your feet, and not the keyboard/controller. That's straight 18/19-worthy stuff, even when done correctly like that.

With that in mind, I can't entirely disagree, but I still like the song anyways.

Yes, I have played 888Challenge. That uses 16ths very liberally, and lots of jumps to boot. Nephilim Delta's percussion track does not. It would be no harder than Tohoku EvolvedHeavy, which is on the hard end of 17s.
