I can't tell from the video, unless I was doing it myself - do you think there would be any problem for more lightweight players holding freezes? I saw the right arrow quickly trigger twice so slightly concerned...

I'm 9-stone, and play on the ball of my foot, and I didn't have any problems with the new pads.

I'm around the same (about 120 pounds) and I had a few dropped holds that weren't me, but I do on every machine I've ever played on for every dancing game (even ITG dedicabs). The SN2 machine dropped more holds for me than this one did.

"I'm like Peter Pan, but a prick"
No clue why they didn't put Risk Junk in the banner, but "2gorgeous4u" was probably on it because that line appears in the IIDX BGA.

So we technically don't have a "Risk Junk" song in international games yet.. Right?

But the banner is where all the fun is! Meh, at least the name is there.

"Gimme a mothaf----n' break!"
So they took a song from the very first beatmania game and made it the artist...interesting...

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
Um, it's not really making it an "artist", it's simply adding taking that graphic from the video and using it in the banner graphic. The text above the graphic clearly says "YELLOW CANDY / Risk Junk". For whatever reason, they just decided not to put the artist name in that particular graphic, I don't think there is anything else to read into it.

It's been proven for a long time that Risk Junk is Taka, so that statement is wrong.

I don't really see what the big deal is, it's just a banner.

Since they've had the machine for longer, check for any unlocks that weren't on the Round1 machine.

I seriously doubt there would any more unlocks. It's pretty much agreed that there will be codes released as have happened for the past 2 mixes.

Also with no eAmuse or sign of USB unlock, it pretty much has to be by code. I don't have a problem with unlock codes, but if your machine has bad panels I can see how frustrating that can be.

Its definitely an input code unlock system like on X as on all the screens but the title screen , the pads do not register any input.

"Let's get this movin'"
Or maybe is using the control in the cab instead of the arrow panel (or a mix of both, same as older Unlock codes)

I doubt they'd move back to a system that requires the arcade staff to open the cabinet. The title screen codes let the players unlock the machine, which is ideal.

It's going to be an unlock code. There really has not been any issues with codes, so why would Konami fix what isn't broken?

*Looks at DDR PS3*

Don't answer that.Tongue

Do we know for sure though that the pads don't register input of the title screen or is it just from what we can see. I'm thinking that maybe it does register, but no lights indicates that you did.
