Sounds half promising...

If we can even get that much we'll have a miracle!
doubt it, but at least it's A response Roll Eyes
True, one response is better than none. So far, I'm optimistic that things will work out properly..

Sounds a lot better than the empty responses we used to get. If they get those pads fixed (and help the arcades that already have them), then we should keep emailing them with other problems with the same sort of respect, and see if that'll wake them up a bit. Try the lag next time, perhaps.

I think the lag is a software issue, or at least it can be fixed via software.

That is just a matter of sensor adjustments that were not done properly.

Sensor adjustments? FFS, these are just simple pressure switches, it's not like tuning an engine.

so isnt it possible to buy upgrade kits in asia and use them anywhere?

Yes, it is (in an SN or SN2 cab) - aside from no eAmusement, of course.

The problem is trying to get a distributor to sell to you outside of Asia... :{

They've had ample testing time with that SuperNOVA2 business we had to put up with since beginning of 2008. Roll Eyes

Sounds saving face. The problem with the pads is decidedly not a matter of adjusting the sensors. But they'll tweak them to compensate for the cheap arrow pads and stage parts and the game will be 80%, good enough for them.

SuperNOVA was suppose to have e-amuse, it did not. SuperNOVA 2 was suppose to have e-amuse, a grand total of two US locations got it on privilege. DDR X was suppose to have e-amuse, oh looky... it launched without it. I'm shocked beyond belief.

Am I the only one that would settle for the old memory card slots at this point?

I would settle for that. Just having the ability to keep track of my scores would be great. It's like with each release they make bigger promises and fall short every single time.

I'd like to see what Konami does when this e-amuse machine comes out, but I can't be the only one sick and tired of promises after promises and then screwing us at the last moment.Annoyed

Why couldnt the allow you to save scores and data onto a USB or SD card if the machine was not online?

...why does this sound familiar? Didn't ITG do this or something?

If that was allowed, that's one less incentive for arcades in Japan to buy e-AMUSE subscription.

They might as well just stop talking about e-AMUSE thing since it never seems to happen here in the US.

Keep in mind that memory cards were supposed to be used in SN1, but it wasn't added because "the company that made the part went out of business" or something.

Yeah they even advertised some sort of connectivity between the AC and the CS in the ps2 game. Konami really, REALLY needs to get their act together.
