I'm tired as hell and feel like falling asleep as I type this sentence.

Well after some searching through the library catalogs, I reserved:
1. Burnout Paradise
2. Castlevania Judgement
3. The Conduit
4. Ghostbusters (360)
5. Need for Speed Undercover (360)
6. Pikmin Wii-make
7. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (360)
8. Street Fighter IV
9. Tomb Raider Underworld (360)

I would of reserved Soul Calibur IV if it was available in the catalog for the 360. Anyone care to tell me if games, 1,2,4,5,7,8, and 9 are any good? I just kind of reserved anything that looked relatively interesting

I only have 1 and 5.

Burnout Paradise is incredibly addicting but the whole "open world" will be confusing at first if you're used to the older games like Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge.

Need for Speed Undercover is far from the best in the series but it is much, much, much, MUCH better than ShitStreet/ProStreet. It's really similar to Need for Speed Most Wanted. It's pretty good.

4. Ghostbusters is good, yet short. I completed the game in a week.
5. NFS Undercover is OK, though better than ProStreet.
8. Street Fighter IV is hella fun!
1. Burnout Paradise is fun, but hard to get used to because of the open-ended nature of the game.

AFAIK, they don't do that here in New York.

Ghostbusters is pretty fun. It takes a little bit to get used to catching ghosts, but once you get it down, shit gets really fun.


Wow, yeah. Let's talk about Street Fighter IV.

I tried playing Arcade Mode on Normal difficulty. A little way in, I fought against Rufus, a grotesquely fat martial artist. I tried using Crimson Viper's Ultra Combo, which starts with an explosion before she goes apeshit on her opponent. FOUR TIMES I exploded at point blank range in an attempt to use this Ultra Combo on this disgusting blimp of a man, yet he walks through it as though I completely missed. I was always under the impression that if the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man walked into an explosion, you couldn't really miss him. Obviously, I was wrong.

Then I got to the final boss, some exaggerated science fair project named Seth. Nothing but teleports, ridiculous ass-beating, and some weird-ass suction attack thingy happened. No exaggeration, I fought this bastard for about an hour to an hour-and-a-half before I finally realized "Hey, I'm having zero fun playing this. There is no enjoyment being had on my end of the controller."

In my long list of 360 games I've played the fuck out of, Street Fighter IV stands out as the only game I have 0 achievement points in, and while I could delete it from my list of played games, I've decided I'm going to keep it on my list as a reminder to myself of how much I despised this game. If ever I think I'll buy it again or give it another try, I'll just look at that glaring 0 in my list of games and remember, "Oh right, I forgot that I enjoyed having my teeth scraped more than playing that game."

...But hey, that's just my opinion. Other people like it.



Steps for success:

1. Tell library to get this game for 360.
2. Reserve this game.
3. FIGHT ME, MOTHERFUCKER.

My two pennies on the Subject:
Meh.. I don't think it's THAT bad. It could be way worse. I personally like having separate box arts for different consoles mainly because I like individuality for different consoles. Also I'm thinking about the Noobs on this one, if you don't know ANYTHING about the series and walk into the store wanting to buy the "newest" DeeDeeAre game that you hear your friends talking about all the time. Would you A) want a game cover that has it's own design and has a different style all together or B) Get a game that looks like 3 other (maybe) games with almost the same name? What I'm trying to say is it's like many of the other game series for other consoles that share the same cover RB, GH, The EA sports games before 2009, etc, etc. Ok I'll stop before I lose everone (and myself) on this post.
