Am I slow or is it common knowledge you can AAA posideon, if you were here, kiss kiss kiss, and dazzlin darlin on a US machine and their remixes appear?
That's how it's worked since day 1 in Japan.

I think it's been pretty well established in this thread that per-round unlocks worked like this, even without e-Amusement. The question is how Replicant D-Action will work (if at all), since those can't be done in one round.

Just a little question, is "Gotta Dance" available by default?
I find it strange that its not available on the DDR X2 machine near me (no e-amuse).

Gotta Dance is available by default on North American and European DDR X2s. Asia ones do not have this unlocked.

Might I suggest people bookmark this page: DDR X2 Unlock Status (North America & Europe)
I've noted how to access some of those songs on the right column.

@al2k Bummer, seems everyone is playing the Japanese licenses a lot. I think I'm the only one playing the other songs.

I'd like to see it in Canada!
This times 1000. The latest mix I have been able to play on in the arcades was a SuperNOVA. I haven't even actually seen a SN2 cabinet or later.I'm really hoping the success of this mix will make it look more encouraging for arcade operators to buy a X2 machine.

I think KONAMI have some explaining to do with their blog entry:
http://mp.i-revo.jp/user.php/ddr/entry/410.html

It mentions the 4 unlocked items and then says that they are unlocked by default for play on overseas DDR X2 (North America/Europe)... even though they are not...

Actually the 4 items is in a different paragraph which is talking about the unlocks in Japan&Asia Version.
In the other paragraph they only mentioned that deltaMAX challenge is made by DM Ashura and it is also available in X2 Overseas version.
That means no 888, Vanessa & Zeta yet in Overseas version.

Even if that was the case, deltaMAX
is unavailable in overseas version. I asked a Japanese friend to confirm the blog post, he says that all four items should be unlocked for default play on overseas version according to it.

It says that something "comes out by default" in DDRX2 Overseas Edition, though?
Nothing mentioned in the blog post is availible by default.

This could be very bad. If they were supposed to be unlocked by default, then there will be no code for their unlocks. Since they're not available by default... we may never see them.
Hopefully that's just a worse case scenario. Let's just hope they goofed and it will be included in one of the unlock codes.

When exactly did Japan start getting stage codes for DDR X? Should we still be waiting for them or are they behind schedule?

Maybe the 3 songs are there, there is just some requirement to unlock them. Example: play X# of songs.

But, again, that's not available by default. There's no doubt the songs are there, it's just the blog says they were to be available by default, apparently, but clearly are not.

Highlights:
Got my 2 first SDGs (Time After Time, Sexy Planet FNMM)
AA'd most everything else I played
had 30 credits at once loaded in the machine
Got to play the 3/4 of the remixed songs
Met JJK and a few other cool dudes
Played for about 6 hours on nothing but mozzarella sticks on a couple glasses over water (about 80 songs or so)
append: Nijiro's challenge chart was also fantastic, loved the Chinese vocals too

Anyone going to Round1 drive past USC on their way there? I am dying to ditch the 90-150 minute bus ride of Metro Silver Line + Foothill Transit 282 to get to my arcade games
(I don't return to school from winter break until January 7th, but, can't hurt to ask early...)

Nah, they won't be overlooked. I'm sure the final unlock code unlocks EVERYTHING, so if they're missed out along the way then they'll just be unlocked at the very end.Hopefully that's just a worse case scenario. Let's just hope they goofed and it will be included in one of the unlock codes.

If the RDA songs are already availible on US machines, then we don't know how to get them. Most people expect them to just be released as one of the first unlocks.
