Bummer, missed pie Sad on the bright side, $10/hour for unlimited games

We'll bump into each other one day, I'm sure Smile.

Actually, the more you visit, the cheaper that hour gets. Mine was $9.

Oh boy, well SURELY the two biggest amusment centers in the area, Dave&Busters and Main Event (both based in Dallas) will get one of these.

Oddly enough, Main Event has been eating up everything that Betson has to offer with their recent new locations, whereas D&B is D&B.

I love SN2 but I am ready to move up!

Does "default" not mean anything to people? -___-" It should be unlocked by default according to that post. Something mustt have gone wrong.
I
I thnink ou are focusing on thos way too much. It's like getting a new car and being upset that it's not the color they told you what it ywould be.

It's like buying a new car and realising that the colour of the dashboard light isn't the colour that a foreign language Twitter account off-handedly mentioned the colour would be, even though no official english source ever made any suggesiton that the dashboard light would be that colour, nobody expected it to be that colour, and there was no logical reason for it to be this weird colour in the first place.

I'm really overwhelmingly happy that it's 2011, and we're still getting new games released in the western world, let alone DDR games that are identical to their Japanese counterparts.

The fact that 3 songs and an Oni chart weren't unlocked at the start of the game doesn't really seem that important right now, even if some miscommunication caused them to tell Japanese consumers that we were getting the songs.

We know we're going to get them within months anyway.

So everyone just accepts being lied to then? Fair enough.

When Konami say they do something, I expect them to deliver. Why say something that isn't true in the blog post? On another note, I am impressed that they fixed ALL other remaining issues with the game before release this time round.

well Tyma, the Japanese dev team also coded the American software, right? so al has every right to be upset with Konami about this.

I just think everybody should be excited about the release of the game :{

Everyone was worrying about so many things regarding pads and screen lag, and sync issues, and everything turned out ok. I just don't want to focus on such a tiny detail, when we should be celebrating all the things that are great about the new DDR game, instead of making such a big deal out of not getting something we really didn't expect to get at all.

It's not like we aren't getting Vannessa, we're just getting Vannessa as part of the staggered unlocks (which is what we expected), rather than getting it right now.

"Give me a steady beat."
Konami will be Konami, once I started expecting everything they do outside of Japan to fall short of their own predictions I stopped getting upset about it.

The more important point is that X2 is the closest the outside world has gotten to a Japanese release so far without importing a machine from Japan. What would be nice is if there weren't a several month delay between regions.

...and online score tracking, and quality hardware, and matching console releases...

From all this assraping Konami have done to us I think people have now become very accepting to it lately.

Yeah, and just this once so far it appears they've actually snatched victory from the jaws of defeat...somehow.

Wow, X2 is playable by all accounts. Hopefully this gets greater distribution, now that it's actually worth it. I'd like to see it in Canada! All the SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA2's I knew of are now gone and we're once again back to EXTREME, so it'd be nice to be brought up to the current decade of DDR.

I went and played X2 today at Round1. Here's my report:

The DanceDanceRevolution X2 machine is 6 credits to play. For those unfamiliar, Round1 uses a card-based system for all their machines and I am not quite sure how much 1 credit is

How many credits does $1 get you? or $5 or $10.

Maybe the San Diego one will get a X2 machine. I'll have to write a letter to them, or maybe not Confused

My guess would be that it costs $1.50 a game. Also, how big of a line is there usually, and is there a lot of versus play to make things go faster

They've been REALLY good about that lately what with the ps3 & wii games. They are good, but I expected a greater challenge.

"MAGGLE"
Just a little question, is "Gotta Dance" available by default?

I find it strange that its not available on the DDR X2 machine near me (no e-amuse).
