Can anyone confirm whether or not the X-Specials are accessible using the criteria established? In the Japanese release, Paranoia and Trip Machine X-Specials were available, then after an update, other X-Specials. I just wonder if they're all available in this initial release.

They should be available, considering the date of the final release version.

However, they somehow didn't see fit giving us the second timing fix that was rolled out promptly after the Japanese/Asian releases.

Also, if anyone sees arcade locations having DDR X popping up, can you add them to the arcade locations page.

One more note about the recent 2009061000 update.

Got confirmation from arcade friend, Electrocoin (UK distro) is selling DDR X for £9995 (roughly $15,000 USD) and no stock until 2nd week of July as there is currently no stock available at the moment. Which could mean all the DDR Xes they had are now sold.

Betson producing the UK cabinets too?

I think we have our own producer in Cardiff which are using the same parts that Betson are.

This got me baffled. Why is Konami tagged into Guitar Hero?

I had a bad feeling as soon they said that Betson will still have a part in the DDR US AC Division, I just thought it wasn't supposed to be THIS SEVERE. Konami has definitely sunk to a new low.

Someone said about the pads being like "My My Box" pads. Is there anything great with the product aside from the design of the blue shark?

Petitions usually get nowhere to be honest, but ah well, always entertaining to see what people put on it.

Mmm hm, I think the biggest impact people could make is refusing to play on the machine, but some people will play DDR no matter how bad in shape the machine is.

I'm definitely not one of them. Not putting £1 (~$1.50) per go on a machine that doesn't work properly.

Konami's patents are being used for Guitar Hero AC. I do find it weird, though, that GHAC's cabinet design and DDR X AC's are eerily similar. Maybe Konami had a hand in the cab design as well.
