This may have already been confirmed. I played Pluto The First
today and can confirm its the nightmare shock arrow chart from X2 US CS. Thanks konami for making a song and chart no one will ever want to bother getting good at. And just when I recently thought it might just barely be possible to PFC everything in DDR singles (Recently paranoia hades
was black flagged and Dead End Groove Radar special
is up to 995,xxx)

Wow. That chart is seriously atrocious. It's barely possible to pass, nevermind have fun with. >:(

What does it mean if a song is black flagged?

The other thing we need to check for the overseas version is the "EX SCORE" (if its working or not).
Guess DDR Step Editor will be updated with some adds (X2 songs and more X and older mixes' songs.

The EX SCORE is impossible without the keypad. They've removed the e-AMUSEMENT readers, so there are no keypads.

oh, but in upgrades (coming soon) the keypads and e-amusement card readers are still there, so we need to wait a little.
I hope we can get upgrades here, looks like no one is shipping here.

You're missing ETERNITY, which is a SUPER EUROBEAT song, so that might be the reason for the mix up.
Eternity's song banner just says "SUPER EUROBEAT 199", and nothing else, so that makes perfect sense.
I was worried for a second that Eternity was missing, because, y'know, it's the best song in the game, and everything ^^;

I think KONAMI have some explaining to do with their blog entry:
http://mp.i-revo.jp/user.php/ddr/entry/410.html

It mentions the 4 unlocked items and then says that they are unlocked by default for play on overseas DDR X2 (North America/Europe)... even though they are not...

Does "default" not mean anything to people? -___-" It should be unlocked by default according to that post. Something must have gone wrong.

I went and played X2 today at Round1. Here's my report:
The DanceDanceRevolution X2 machine is 6 credits to play. For those unfamiliar, Round1 uses a card-based system for all their machines and I am not quite sure how much 1 credit is, but I do know that the machine can be played using the unlimited hour of play special that they have, which is what I did. The machine has been placed in a circle of games near the front of the arcade section which also includes SuperNOVA2, Pro 2, Fiesta, and Technika.
The machine is a monster for sure and it definitely stands out, even with three other dancing games near it. I should warn other potential players that the card reader on the game is acting a little wonky. It kind of randomly goes from being out of order to not being out of order, you just need to wait until the reader is illuminating green and you'll know that it is okay to swipe your card. Hopefully the reader will be completely fixed soon.
The game interface is gorgeous and screenshots and videos don't really do it justice. It's really something you have to see for yourself. As many of the people who are familiar with the game know, the game divides into two main modes: "HAPPY MODE", which has a limited number of songs and difficulties available, and "PRO MODE", which allows you to choose "MUSIC PLAY", "COURSE", or "DRILL COURSE". HAPPY MODE is obviously made for beginners and players should be careful about smashing the start button when they insert their credits, as the game defaults to HAPPY MODE in the selection menu.
Choosing the normal game mode, the game defaults to SUPER EUROBEAT <GOLD MIX> and has the western licenses placed first in the license list, then the Japanese licenses, followed by the DANCEMANIA revivals. All the new Konami Originals from X2 CS are available by default except for KIMONO PRINCESS and roppongiEVOLVED, which are the game's boss songs. The oni charts for these songs (along with Second Heaven) are available by default and do not need to be unlocked.
COURSE MODE has six courses available: joyfull WORKOUT, ESSENTIAL, HAPPY TUNES!!, POWER PUSH X2, From IIDX, and REVIVAL. Two hidden songs can be played through COURSE MODE: Sky is the Limit (on the HAPPY TUNES!! course) and FIRE FIRE (on the From IIDX Course) but they can only be played on BASIC or DIFFICULT depending on which course difficult you choose.
The individual song high scores feature has been brought over from SuperNOVA and it is a welcome addition in my opinion. There are already a plethora of PFC scores recorded on the machine and I had a hard time getting any high scores on the machine.
I have not played on a DanceDanceRevolution X cab before so I cannot make comparisons between the two cabs, but there is certainly a noticeable difference in gameplay between the monitors of X2 cabs and SN2 and older cabs. There is a slight delay on the screen, but I was able to adjust to it midway through my first song and it was no longer even noticeable by the end of my first round. I found no evidence of a "timing drift" bug that had plagued older versions of the game either.
The X2 pads performed wonderfully for me, with no pad misses, "ghost steps", or freeze drops during my sets. I was able to consistently FC songs and even courses without much trouble. The pads seemed sturdy and I did not encounter any of the arrows slipping or moving around. Of course, given that this machine has been up for the better part of two days, there's no evidence of what kind of durability the pads may have in the long run.
All in all, it was the most fun I've had playing DDR in years. Even with its default songlist, X2 is an enjoyable experience that can provide hours of entertainment to any DDR player. I'll be looking forward to making many trips to Round1 in the future and I think many DDR players in the area will be doing the same.

exactly what you just said, except you must have had some serious head trauma if you're going to pay $30,000+ for a new car and its not the color you want it to be.
in other words, you're 100% right in the (misspelled) words used, but 100% wrong in the point you're trying to make.
