hey guys I decided to update all of you on Brunzwick Zone Naperville.

I went there today, and I found that e-amusement was ONLINE. The machine had the test machines e-amuse slots (you can see the tape lines along the bottom of the e-amuse system).

the machine itself was in pretty bad shape. I got a emplyee to get the 2nd side fixed, but before I left I found the up arrow, and bottom arrow to not be working. I told the employee again, and he will get on it tomorrow (I left at around 9:00, kind of late to pull out the sensors, and fix the pad).

FINAL STAGE is UNREAL
EXTRA STAGE is NGO
ENCORE EXTRA STAGE is Trip Machine PhoeniX

Here are the unlocks that I got in order up to level 18...

Then of course if you get to level 100 on each part of the groove radar you unlock the special groove radar songs.
I got 3 today.

Oh lord, PLEASE don't tell me the US is going to have to go through that whole unlock system that Japan went through. Well, the thing isn't supposed to "officially" start until the 17th, so maybe they'll get on the unlocks then. Did you try the courses to see if anything new was there?

nothing was there, just the normal stuff.

Also ya, you are going to have to go threw the whole unlock system... Big deal. WE HAVE E-AMUSE!

P.S. if you have a e-amuse card that you got at the test, it is no longer valid...

Also anyone know if the groove specials are unlock on the machine or just for you?

you have to unlock the grove specials yourself. Its not that hard, so don't worry. I unlocked 3 at one time.

Also Pop'n has a very slim chance at coming out. The game is just to kidish for America.

however I can still see GFdm, and beatmania, but I wont get my hopes up at all.

Not necessarily. Like I said, the thing isn't even supposed to be "officially" starting until Monday. Plus, it's taken Japan over half a year to get just where they are, just have a little patience .

I really don't want to go through half a year just to unlock stuff. By that time I won't even care about SN2 anymore. Just gotta wait and see but in the mean time, thank the Lord for r21.

Here's something I've been wondering, if the song you play has a lot of stream, will it only increase that part of your groove radar? Or is is random?

you know if we do have to go through the unlock stuff, it will last about 6-7 months & possibly a new DDR game will be out i think, but thats my opinion

If you play certain songs who only have 1 radar category (like "bag") you gain experience for the category (in the case of "bag" is "CHAOS"). If you play some songs with a mix of categories, like "Pink Rose" you gain experience for ALL CATEGORIES.
When the results appear (the EAPASS screen after the summary), you can check the experience gain and the radar info.
The level up works slighly similar to a RPG game, like Final Fantasy:
When you archieve a high grade (like AAA Full Perfect Combo) you gain more experience than a lower grade.
When you archieve a full combo in a songs, you gain more experience than not getting a full combo.

in less words:

a better gameplay you got, more experience you gain and your level will go up faster
choosing a different group of songs will add score to different categories of the radar.
choosing a simmilar group of songs will add score to 1 or 2 categories, but those categories will go up faster

Archieving Extra Stage will add more experience (more if you choose Expert or Challenge to play, more exp. if you clear the stage)
I don't know about level up in course mode or battle mode.

Dynamite Rave (challenge, less chaos) - A

you got experience in this manner:
first, clearing songs
next, getting high grades
next, full combo
next, new personal records
next, archieving Extra / Encore Extra
next, Extra Stage results
next, radar gain
next, calories burned (only if you activate workout mode)

you gain 3000 exp. points
you archieve Lv. 10
you got ALL the bonus for that level. like modifiers, and so one

the data will be saved into the EAPASS servers and done.

to sum it up to get groove radar songs you play songs that have each groove radar piece (if its off the chart, you are almost guaranteed a unlock, after a few other songs specializing on the part of the groove radar). thats really it, you will unlock songs eventually that are groove radar unlocks, just by playing songs that are maxed out on the groove radar. If not it will take a while to get groove radar songs if its not maxed out.

Omega, by any chance do you know if the e-amuse cards given at the test back August function with the e-amuse system? My guess is that they probably do since those cards are global e-amuse cards.
