Managed to hit 39.5+k with consistent FCs, going up from 35-37k. Still finding it hard to time the double flicks consistently.

I've managed to just barely crack 40K exactly once, with a score of 40080.
The double flicks also give me the most trouble. My advice is to pay close attention to your judgements after each set and try to calibrate your timing via trial-and-error. If the first one on each side is Flawless, you're starting on time. If they're mostly the same non-Flawless judgement, your speed is good but you're starting too early or too late.

well event is over, random song event is on, Hypersphere is up for grabs, I ain't dealing with that.

Mid Summer Cup Event is coming.. It will be a TAG BATTLE with 2 persons per group. This event is once again a TOTAL SCORE ATTACK (Score Grinding). Playing shared songs from your partners will get x1.5 bonus (if the song is one of the required songs for the event).

So I've spent about 300 premium tickets so far in this random select festival, and not a single special unlock challenge.
I was hoping the likelihood of getting one would be increased now that I've got over 1500 RP... But that doesn't seem to be the case.

I recently had a successful ONE-CHANCE Challenge, getting an old REWARD EVENT song (最後 の ページ 1),

Got thrown off by Crisscrosser's ending [I'm not sure, but it seemed like they repeated the opening part except there's a constant beat press somewhere], but the chart isn't as bad as z[i] or Hypersphere.

The second half of the event has started, and playing 魔界村 a couple times has reminded me of why I never bothered even trying to FC it when I first unlocked it. Seriously, did anyone even playtest this chart before it was released? Those left+right swipes about 20 seconds in are stupidly hard to combo, because the hitboxes overlap. If you hit the upper half of one swipe, you'll get a Fast2 on the next one. It's the one section keeping me from an FC.

About the RANDOM SELECT events: Why is it so difficult to get one-time unlock challenges? I only unlocked two new stages, and both are from GLAY.

from what I can tell, the game goes by what you don't have and gives you those songs to try and unlock, over time it becomes more impossible to unlock stuff.

Excuse the shameless bragging again, but I managed to fluke my way through those flick notes on 魔界村, despite ragequitting last night and nearly doing so again today. Cost me quite a few premium tickets, but it was totally worth it! And I'm still not sure how I pulled it off.

It seems it isn't an ranking event but a revival campiagn to celebrate GLAY 20th anniversary.
All the current Glay songs plus the special Glay theme will be made available again + 1 new song... Probably will be in a series of missions to complete and earn them.
