Is that it's official name? I don't think it's been given a name, and I don't think that's the artist. If it hasn't been announced officially, just say "DDR X2 Ending" or something. I've also heard of it being referred to as Sunset by nc ft. NRG Factory.

Generations was my fictitious title for the song, from the DDR X2 thread. That is probably not what it's really called.

"Dance Dance Revolution" is based on the opening music to DDR 1st Mix.

When you step on the arrows, the stepzone displays different colors, depending on your timing. Marvelous is white, Perfect is yellow, Great is green, good is good, and Boo is red.

PARANOiA ETERNAL has a different -s stepchart in Extreme than in the 5th Mix.

Alice is in the 桜 [Sakura] background, apperently "tranced".

Pop'n Music banners has characters in them because they appeared exactly like the banners in the game itself, and you "face" them in-game, not to mention they appear in the backgrounds.

The song Stoic has Afro "going crazy" in the background, which is a parody of the original bg video in IIDX, with TAQ doing the same thing.

Mind Parasite is a 6 in SN AC, but it's really an 8.

SP Trip Machine Jungle Mix has the first "walks" (the technique that's in Afronova :hea. *correct me if I'm wrong on this* I tell people who wants to learn how to "walk" to play this over Afronova. Are you people seriously going to learn how to do it at 200 BPM, when you could practice it at 160!? lol.

"I'll Make Love To You", from SN, is the slowest, constant BPM song.

Actually based on the 2ndMIX intro theme. Which is confusing, because the 2ndMIX intro is used on the original Asian, American and European DDR/DS arcades.

Drop Out is the fastest constant BPM songs at 260.

The Oni remixes have their own gimmicks despite being pitifully easy than their regular counterparts. You were, after all, playing with a battery lifebar and no mods, right?

The Music Select BGM from DDR X NA CS was dropped on the arcade version.

Love Shine (Heavy) on DDR Extreme was significant at the test location version because it was the first song that was AAAd on the first try by the first person playing it (at any test location, though a few songs have been AAAd on test location versions previous).

Some of the magazines released before the release of DDR X2 featured DJ Yoshitaka in a centerfold, and DJ Taka, L.E.D. and DJ Yoshitaka again in a group shot. Makes you wonder...

edit: I dug up old ratings for removed songs on the locations tests of DDR X (I distinctly remember Ever Snow written as a 10 on ). I just found out that I didn't have the actual page bookmarked. Will post the quote when I stumble across it again.

just to expand on these, Mind Parasite's rating was changed in Japan through an e-amuse update, but of course lack of e-amuse elsewhere in the world meant our versions keep it at a 6.

And the guys in The Legend of Max video are also central to the video to paranoia survivor max on IIDX 9th. i read somewhere that apparently one of the guys is called Max, and i think the other is Paranoia. i don't know how true that is though.

Also, about MAX300 being the first 10-footer: if they weren't actually rated as 10-footers until MAX2, wouldn't it be tied with Maxx Unlimited?

...except Max 300 premiered on Max 1 whereas Maxx Unlimited didn't come around until the next mix. DDR Max didn't have foot ratings for songs, only the groove radar.


I don't know. I always thought Bad Girls was slightly disturbing.
