Those keys look awful.
I guess I'll grow to like them once I give it a try though.

In reference to this picture
Line by line
"Anyone can feel like a pianist
A new rhythm game to play piano pieces
Nostalgia
Konami entertainment presents a rhythym game for the purpose of your amusement!
From a beginner until experienced, you can have fun all the way! A keyboard like device for playing piano pieces.
This new piano piece playing device, compared to an actual piano , has a much smoother division of the keyboard.
If your fingers roughly hit the notes (that is the area relative to the screen) of the chart , the correct sound will play. It's not actually the way you play piano , but you can simply have fun doing piano performances. "
Im that bored.
Eh might as well do the next page
As for the second one
"A beautfiful nostalgic visual"
With elegant yet emotive visuals, you will be able to play an unforseen totally different style of rhythm game!
"Even the songs you heard for only just a moment"
Starting with famous classical pieces, bemani piano arrangements and original comissioned pieces, we're compiling all into our game!
And the bottom is the song list.
Im not a professional... but i think its a "pretty accurate" representation of what it says...
There's a little sprucing up done a bit, although some parts I legitimately didn't really know how to not make it sound awkward in English..
Anyways sorry that my english is garbage, it's not my first first language to be fair...

"SOUND VOLTEX -BOOTH-" |
This is a strong mish-mash of several rhythm games from what I see:
Keyboardmania+Deemo's emphasis on piano tracks, Chunithm's key layout, and Neon FM's "boomerang" note trajectory.
The JAEPO songlist consists of the following:
Classical songs ("translated" in a sense):
Fur Elise (Beethoven)
Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 (Chopin)
Minuet (by which composer I couldn't read)
Etude No. 3 "Tristesse" (Chopin)
BEMANI songs:
飽和世界 / 猫叉Master
ピアノ協奏曲第1番"蠍火" / virkato
neu / 少年ラジオ
Blind Justice ~torn souls, hurt faiths~ / Zektbach (video below)

Thanks for the translation, Saze! Your English is not bad at all TBH.

Anyway, Nostalgia sounds really awesome. I've said this once (er...I think I've said this once...) and I'll say it again: I hope it isn't the flop MÙSECA was! Nostalgia has a lot of potential!

So it is based on the position of the the notes which is where you hit the keys. I'm sure it would be the steepest learning curve in the history of mankind if you had to specifically hit each of those tiny clear keys. It would be like playing the hardest songs on Pop
N times a thousand.

I feel like Nostalgia isn't just a game targeted for gamers, but a game welcomed for everyone to play. You don't have to be precise to play it, there are no gimmicks, and there isn't a song that's intense-sounding, like FLOWER (if it did crossover to the game, it should at least appear as a piano arrangement).
(As I was typing this on my phone, I was notified that Yoshitaka was interviewed about the game and he said that game is designed to make a beginning gamer feel like they can play piano. (Something among those lines))
I enjoy this game, even though it's highly comparable to Deemo and Chunithm. It just needs to have better gameplay graphics (too simple and Smule-y) and the black keys need to have another purpose besides being extra keys.

Songs that may be crossed over:
"Schall" we step?
Autumn G
avant-guerre
Präludium
And if the game decides to include some more intense songs...

MENDES

but the game needs kbm crossovers. it's kbm 2.0.

can i request no vocaloid and no touhou, pls?
i just want an old style BEMANI game, with commisioned artists. (nothing against the doujin ones, i love them, but nowadays they're almost everywhere. i'm okay if they do original songs, tbh. give me the peroneri konami original song)

I 100% agree with this. And I doubt there will be any Vocaloid or Touhou songs, as this doesn't seem like the game to have those kinds of songs. Otoiroha (the other new BEMANI game coming out), on the other hand, has a 99% chance it will have those kinds of songs...

it's hardly KBM 2.0, besides the keyboard motif (a piano actually) the game has a massively different interface and gameplay style.
also the keys are fucking tiny
