Well, I'm actually planning on making a series of tournaments like this, each one with a specific set of songs (Original Series, Boss Songs, etc.) and having the winners of each in a 'true champions' bracket. This is Wild Card #1.

Max 300 -1 (honestly, I find Max 300 to be generally over-rated. edit: I was referring to the song itself. The chart is fine, but I still prefer A Geisha's Dream)

Max 300 actually feels good on my fingers, Once you figure out the patterns to it, doing that huge stream is fun. Especially because there's no double-stepping or crossovers in that part (those + streams = disaster for me).

A Geisha's Dream - 3
A Geisha's Dream seems interesting, but lacking too, at least for being the most fun chart, especially over MAX 300. A Geisha's Dream has crossovers and gallops thrown about and...that's it really. A song like AFRONOVA has a crazy fast crossover pattern that nobody was good at dealing with at the time, RHYTHM AND POLICE threw a bunch of crossovers and some gallop sections at a fast pace, and then A Geisha's Dream just sort of scatters them around with some pauses between. It's perfectly fine and doesn't look un-fun by any means, but it doesn't really feel special when charts like that (sans gallops) have been around since 1stMIX Internet Ranking Edition! MAX 300 on the other hand just feels more cohesive to me. It's got it's fast BPM, the streams are organized in a sort of progressive way while still retaining difficulty, and it's just super fun to (try to) play something like that. ...here we have the longest pointless opinion of all time, you're welcome.
