"I'm honestly pissed off."
I actually have videos of the missing difficulties, I'll do the steps tonight if you'll do the syncing.

Do you have them for all three versions of the song?

And yeah, I'll be more than happy to sync them (although, if you wait about half an hour or so, I can put up a new workfile with all three versions in it for you, with the existing difficulties synced up).

Yes, I have them for all 3 versions, though it took me ~10 tries to randomly get them.

An existing synced workfile would be nice.

Oh, and plus, my videos have all 4 difficulties side by side so it's trivial to line up the different difficulties.

Excellent, then you can just use the Expert steps as a base to know that things are lined up and synced. Smile

The files can be found at http://ddr.locusincompertus.com/TEWork.zip.

Got it, headed home to dance and work on it.

Famous last words. >_> I slipped up in a couple places, so the the difficult and beginner charts for the jumps and runs version go off by 1 4th at some point after the 560 freeze. Didn't have time to fix it completely.

And I may have messed up the end of the expert chart before I realized I was the one that was wrong.
Here it is anyway, though I intend to work on it more tonight.

Yeah, you have the vids, so you'll need to fix that up (I have nothing to compare to so I have zero idea where anything goes wrong).

"Sarah/Autumn"
Here I Go Again
This is another one with tricky freezes to read, but I think I got them correctly.

Hold Tight

Disco Inferno
I really want to play this one...

Finally
Interesting 1.5-beat stop at the end.

Next up will be Gypsy Woman.

"Sarah/Autumn"
So I remembered this $25 gift card I got a few years ago, and decided to get HP rather than wait for the solo-game that will never come. I've unlocked everything except TE (didn't want to burn out on Groove Circuit Mode), and played all three variants in free mode and in succession. I would've full-comboed the second one (pure stream), but didn't fully realize the tune/freezes/BPM was different and messed up waiting for the audio cues. Otherwise I'm gonna have to practice those step-jumps.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Finally Heavy m32 doesn't use 12ths like I coded since I broke combo when trying that, lol. Now that I look at the video again, those are 16ths. Updated SM here.

Okay, so I didn't get anything done this weekend, because I'm borrowing Parasite Eve from a friend.
However, I did work out my problems with my webhost (friend with a basement in his server). So, would my videos of all 4 charts playing simultaneously be useful? I had to compress them down to 320x240, but you can still read the arrows just fine if you play it stretched. Also, they don't have the music in them.
I don't know the quality of the videos you guys are working off of, but these were recorded on an LCD monitor, so there's no black bar or flicker.
Tokyo Evolved (not sure which version) as an example:

Oh, and that video is the step-jump one. The one in the simfiles section is the runs+stepjumps version.

I'd rather my files get double-checked for sync first, though that still sounds really cool. I'll just focus on the steps and let Archer make those decisions, haha.

Eh, I'm too focused on actually dancing to concentrate on stepping, so I wouldn't be uploading to the category.
So, was my video of better quality than the ones you already have, enough that I should upload ones of other songs, or not?

Yeah the video's a lot easier to see, but there's only 7 other US songs left lol. I'll be doing them in alphabetical order, so it would be most useful if you started from the bottom of the list and worked your way up. EDIT: Videos would still make verifying my steps a lot easier for a second party.
-I Don't Feel Like Dancin'
-Karma Chameleon
-let it out
-Little L
-Such A Feeling
-The Sign
-Touchin'

Also, sound would help Laughing Out Loud

Well, in that case, my video of the "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" charts will be up in ~10 minutes, for the person that wants to go through and double check your steps.
http://kyzentun.tejat.net/new_junk/ will take you to the dir I'm posting it in, just find it from there.

Edit: It's up at http://kyzentun.tejat.net/i_dont_feel_like_dancin.avi. Too lazy to ssh in and move it to the right place, I'm headed home.

I'm pretty sure none of the 16ths are 12ths, though m17 Heavy had me suspicious for awhile.

Little L
The Heavy chart has some interesting rhythms.

This one has a cool ending, haha.

I haven't been watching the sync too carefully on work being posted up, but I have played a good number of them on heavy and not noticed any problems with them, so if they're no on sync, then they're at least close.

Kyz, can you put up the other two TE videos, along with the simfiles you did? I can fix any errors in them from those easily.

Okay, I just uploaded tokyoEVOLVED [Expert End - Steps-Jumps] to the server; I have all the steps in and synced thanks to Kyz's video.

If he can get me the other two he has, then I'll complete the steps for those as well (I can see the incorrect one on his server, but I need the video for a reference to fix it).

I'll put up the the other two videos tomorrow, as luck would have it, you asked after I had cleared out my flashdrive because I needed the space for something else, and also deleted the copies I had on my work comp because it's always low on HD space.

Bump: Okay, I had to redo the videos due to having deleted my copies at home too.
http://kyzentun.tejat.net/tokyo_evolved_jackrabbit.avi
And I messed up when I compressed the other one, so I'll have to upload that one tomorrow.

Bump 2: And the last TE video is up.
http://kyzentun.tejat.net/new_junk/tokyo_evolved_running_jackrabbit.avi
Yay, at least I can contribute something, even if I'm too lazy to step them myself.

Alrighty, the steps from video 1 are up.

Kyz, the second video you put up is the same as the video I originally grabbed from you. I'm still missing the one that corresponds to the pure run version of the heavy steps.

In the meantime, I'm going to work on the JP songs that we have videos for (thanks!), and then on The Sign and Touchin' if they're not done by the time I'm done Youtube-ing to finish those.

C'mon guys, we're close to being done on this (especially on the NA side)!

--- edit ---

And the Youtube video stuff is done for what we had.
