BEMANI Artists that should return

Do you realize that SLAKE left its position on the IIDX staff because he left KONAMI, right? It wasn't due to its "lack" of popularity, he had other reasons which lied more on the musical freedom aspect.

He was still around as a commission artist afterwards, and as such, it was up to the sound director(s) to call him again to compose a song... or to call another artist. Regardless, there are more people that like his music than you might realize (some of them even calling 9th style and 10th style their favorites).

I have yet to actually have seen a popular fanbase support his 9th-10th style in here nor in a few other places, but I guess i'll take your word for it? I didn't exactly say he left out of popularity, there were other issues as well that I didn't message on with his lack of presence in Bemani games after 11th RED, ties to his manager (Mr.T) who left on the same year, musical pursuing career, gig at Cube etc. Point is, this is just me saying this as a non-fan of SLAKE'S earlier work. Take it or leave it. Apologies if I seem brash or rude.

In light of potential ending this side-discussion, let's get this thread back on track.

M-Flo

m-flo isn't really a BEMANI artist, and they're definitely still around. Though I wouldn't mind some newer m-flo songs in DDR, REFLEC BEAT or something since they've moved to a more dance-oriented sound.



Their last BEMANI appearance was in jubeat copious with "come again" (which was in REFLEC BEAT first).

I wanted TЁЯRA to come back to Bemani.
Before Naoki and jun joined with Capcom, they made a lot of TЁЯRA songs like DoLL, Flowers, Zenith, and Glide and they were fantastic. After their last song Märchen from pop'n music 20 Fantasia, Naoki decided to retire from Konami/Bemani, and then he decided to work on a game project with Capcom. Jun also joined Capcom and made a song called Dazzling Season.
My point is, I really want TЁЯRA to come back to Bemani so they can make new songs and, of course, making full versions on some songs that didn't have one like Sacred Oath and Zenith. But let's face it, it's probably never gonna happen since they joined with Capcom.

To be honest, even though m-flo is still around, if they put The Theme From Flo-Jack back in, I'd probably shit myself.
