i'm all up for DMAshura, but lets get some of his original work. go owns the pants off of most of his max remixes(although i love maxx attaxx for some reason).

The original Chaotic CENTURY was made for me by my good friend Enoch, and then he remixed it into WHITE. =P

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of DM Ashura, and it seems like they just put him in DDR for name recognition, not music. I mean, EternuS and Until Forever are way better than any Ashura I've heard.

Well, let me rephrase.

I think they just put him in because when they started holding contests for fanmade songs, they knew there would be a huge uproar if Ashura wasn't included.

KDEI's games beat the shit out of anything KCET has released in the past 2 years, hands down. you may not know the songs, i didnt know have of what was in any ultramix or universe game before playing them, but these are damn good games. universe does NOT suck, universe > supernova(US, DS, JP, AC, all of them). quality songs/quality charts > quantity of songs/terrible charts.

I wouldn't say there are that many truly quality songs on Universe, although it does get major points in my book for having Stop Violence!, Koibito, and Precious...

I was redirected to some of Ashura's newer work, and I've got to say, it's a lot better than the stuff I've heard in the KBMPs and stuff. I would certainly like to have some of it on future DDR games (prefer ably PS2, cuz I don't have an 360)

Which songs in general? The only 'new' song I've heard by him is Psi².

Well, Chaotic WHITE was REALLY good.

IWBYS looks like a hard 8 at 474 combos.

Well i got the game and i have to say thats it's better then i expected. I kinda don't like the lack of recognizable songs though but some of them are preety cool. I'd say they could of done so much better with the whole customizing of your own "avatar" but hey who buys Ddr for the characters?

its kind of sad, after sitting down with both games... supernova 2 is just superior to this in every way. it was the opposite with universe and supernova for me though.

its not so much that i dont know the songs, as it is that i dont like them. the syncing feels terrible to me(even with videos turned off i got 80 greats on the melody and mezzo song which just shouldnt happen), and the framerate issues are still there. i was able to over look the engine problems with universe because the songs and steps were so great, but i just cant get into the songs in this one. honestly, i really feel like KDEI dropped the ball this time the more i play it. SN2 on the other hand grows on me the more i play it, and the more i play NGO the more i realize just how much sense that chart actually makes. i could do without AAAing everything i play. i have 8 songs left, you guys can probably guess which ones(hint:their either red or a 10).

its a shame, i have no use for DDR on my xbox. this game didnt impress, and universe has the unlockable song glitch that removes your locked songs from the song selection so i rarely play either of them.

They should be exclusive to the Xbox since the PS2 games had the majority of BeForU songs. In all the xbox games these were the BeForU songs. Breakdown, Dive, Firefly. With the exception of songs by Riyu and DLC or other members of the band. Second of all this was spread out through the games. In the PS2 version most of the times there was 2 or 3 in each. Supernova 2 had. 2 songs by Riyu and 1 BeForU song. Total 3. DDR Universe 2 has 3 togo songs.

On that note, why haven't we got CHIKARA in a CS yet?
