The "nearly" weekly update is continuing with the 2nd batch already due for tomorrow
We get 5 new songs (can't wait for this new remix of Ongaku as well a Murakumo's)
There will also be a hidden song if you play the gorilla song as well as a song by Kabocha (not sure yet about the second part for unlocking)
Add to this a new Policy Break event, this time with Pop'n which will net you Babel ~ Next Story (it's going to be a killer 15 T.T)

By the way, the Gorilla song sung by Kabocha turns out to be the Infinite chart.
To unlock it, you need to play ごりらがいるんだ and 僕達は此処にいる, and for the final song, this infinite chart will appear. Play it once (clear?) and it'll be available in the shop (yes, you need to buy it after)

The site also mentions something about the Skill Analyzer and a new song contest involving the Zola Project (something about three new male vocaloids? not totally sure).

Apart from the Zola Project contest, there is still the "normal" contest on-going (though it's only until the 29th, so if anyone is composing songs and want to try getting it in Voltex...there is no time left >.>)
And yes, the Skill Analyzer is changing songs again (and this time, to make sure there is a rotation, songs that already appeared twice can't be selected...). It's a bit annoying when you try to get those PUC-dan and see them vanishing, and I don't have confidence I can re-take the 10th dan (fear Ganymede too much)

Anyway, now that Unicorn Tail is somehow in Voltex...it should be about damn time it moves to IIDX AC (as well as those other CS transplants leaked)

Is there a reason this game gets a million different versions of U.N. Owen was her? That song is so overdone now in general, and having it keep showing up in SDVX is getting really old. It would be like Paranoia if we got every single version that exists in one DDR mix, with just as many in the next. Seriously.

It's not only U.N. Owen actually (Cirno's thema for example)
It's because the Touhou remix contest was exclusively songs from the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil...and so far there was 26 songs from this contest. Add to this the popularity of U.N. Owen, and that's the reason I guess...

So, let's bump this thread with the recent news.
Starting tomorrow, Infinite Blaster is starting up, so we'll have lots of new Infinite charts which is a pretty good thing (we've been waiting so long for that Ganymede Infinite, I hope it'll come)
Add to that a really big update with the remaining 5 songs from the KAC contest (some new 16 maybe?), and even better, for the opening of the kors K remix contest, Sound Voltex gets 2 new exclusive Kors K songs!

Those songs will be within those selected for the remix contest as well (I hope someone does a awesome remix of Monkey Business)

Well, a little bump to this thread

As usual, Voltex is still getting tons of updates, between new songs, new infinite, and for this summer, it seems that they are reviving Policy Break and Floor Infections every week.
But the point of this message is about the next update coming wednesday, which is a surprising collaboration with Steel Chronicle
By doing 10 missions until the end on the said game, you can unlock the new theme song of the game, written by Camellia (かめりあ）
Being someone who plays a lot Steel Chronicle, I was really happy about this announce (and the character I use in game even got the clothes from Capsaicin, gonna use those!)
