Yeah, that's why I was hurt with the loss of Redox
The limit on TGU also sort of hurt my Ghostrick deck, but I haven't used it on a while...
As an anecdote, two of the local stores here use to run the newest ban list for the local tournaments as soon as it's announced, so we've been practicing on the new meta for some days already

Bump. Again. Agh!
Anyone here still use Dueling Network? Or have you all mostly moved on to DevPro/YGOPro? I'd like to play against anyone here that still plays (at least online).
Also, over in OCG Territory, they've got Igknights and the most ludicrous thing yet. Trains. (I'm playing trains right now and I'm horrible at it). Oh yeah, I cannot forget. No changes with the new banlist the OCG got.
Important Bump: There is a new Forbidden/Limited out there for all who are wondering:
There aren't a lot of changes but I think they're for the better.
Djinn and Lavalval Chain got banned
Trishula went from being banned to 1
Shurit went from 3 to 1
Atlantean Dragoons went from 1 to 2
Dragon's Ravine went from 1 to 2
Glow-Up Bulb, Sinister Serpent, Dark Strike Fighter, Sacred Sword of Seven Stars, Temple of the Kings, and Exchange of the Spirit are available for play at 3!
Changes are also apparent on yugioh-card.com/en/limited
Also, my deck, Tellarknights won the World Championship this year with 3 Tellarknight decks in the top 8.
So next list, tellarknights will probably get the boot and will get hit.
What are your thoughts on all this?

Altair will probably get hit, *maybe* Deneb as well.

I'm more inclined to believe that Altair will get hit more than deneb. It's responsible for basically every combo play in the deck. Deneb will only allow you to search for other tellars, allowing further combos to happen, the main play everyone goes for is Triverr and Delteros. Sometimes you can make multiple Xyz monsters by using Call/Oasis in the end phase to perform your combo plays during your opponents turn and then after on your turn. Number 86 is also very Ludicrous in how really, really good it is. Gets over Apoqliphort Towers and can possibly win you the game. No86 won't get hit, more than likely, and we shouldn't see another banlist again until maybe the end of the year or possibly the beginning of next. Also, Konami now chooses to release a list whenever on earth they want making the market very unstable in under a few hours for certain cards (besides, wasn't it like that for every other banlist before the March 2015 banlist where they would rotate every few months).

Rhongomyniad is a pain, but yeah it won't be limited, considering that the two decks that can get him with 3+ materials rather consistently are Tellar (which IS going to get hit) and Heroic (which is barely played).
Can't wait to see the new banlist, whenever is it. For now, I'm thinking on building a Majespecter deck on the future.

Can someone explain to me how a typical 'Deskbot' deck runs? I used my 'Fortune Lady' deck against someone who ran a 'Deskbot' deck. Apparently, that deck relies on forming an army, and increasing attack power with each 'Deskbot' monster. From what I saw, 'Torrential Tribute' and 'Future Visions' (If a monster is normal summoned, it's banished until your next standby phase') seemed to do a number on his deck. That being said, is there any other way I can counter that particular playing style? If it helps, he also ran a field spell called 'Chicken Game'.

Deskbot decks run exactly as you described. It's a swarm deck with OTK possibilities, as every Deskbot power ups itself or other Deskbot. They can also make synchros (001 is a Tuner) and Pendulum summons (005 and 006).
Cards that punish attack modification (Overworked, Ragnazero), Machine hate (System Down), and stopping their multiple summons (Summon Limit) work good against them.

I bought Yu-Gi-Oh Millenium Duels on XBLA. Haven't made a custom deck yet.

Who here is splashing clowns (Performage Cards) in their decks?
I made clown blade earlier this week and have been playing the crap out of it. It's not as good as Satellarknights (my main deck), but has the potential to become one of the most strongest decks I am ever to run. I like it a lot, and it has proven itself because I have beat a few people with the deck. It bricks about 30-40%-ish of the time but when I can play it, the deck is just wonderful and I have the potential to OTK with the right setup.
Also, Elder Entity Norden is out as well as reprints from Primal Origin through Secrets of Eternity available in the Mega Tins! Hooray!

I have on PS3. I don't think we can duel each other. I have to mod the default deck to beat Pegasus. What sucks is that there is no card shop option in this game. Heard Legacy of the Duelist was better.
Also let's just ignore the fact that I just posted a vid here about the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! movie.

I bulit a standard ClownBlade, it's pretty fun. Might try the Gem-Knight variant (since all I'm missing is a couple of Brilliant Fusions). The Shaddoll variant seems strong enough as well, but it's a bit more expensive to get IRL.Post #57 · Posted at 2015-09-20 04:10:21pm 9.6 years ago

Haven't seen the Gem-Knight Clown build, any idea how that thing works?

Brilliant Fusion sort of works like a Shaddoll Fusion, allowing you to send materials from the deck to fusion summon a Gem-Knight Monster. In this case, you send a vanilla Gem-Knight (i.e. Garnet) and Damage Juggler/Trick Clown to summon Gem-Knight Seraphinite, which allows you to have an extra normal/set summon per turn.
You can then summon Daigusto Emeral to revive the vanilla Gem-Knight and keep making more XYZ if you want.
It's more of a tech than a variant, but at least on my area it's a pretty popular one

I don't think I've talked in this thread here before, but I think it's perfectly necessary to do this today.
I want to know all of your reactions to the ongoing removal of Yu-Gi-Oh! simulators, such as Dueling Network, YGOPro, and possibly DevPro. This is probably the perfect place to ask, as we are all aware of what Konami did with In the Groove.
My take on it is that this has stooped even lower than Konami vs. Roxor Games, and my reasoning was that this is more equivalent to if Konami went after Stepmania, LunaticRave, K-ShootMania, etc. These games are merely simulators of official games, which we ironically do not have access to. Same for Yu-Gi-Oh!, because Konami has yet to provide us a decent mega-game since Yu-Gi-Oh! Online...and that might be saying too much.
I don't know. Questions, comments? Might this impact your interest in the game entirely? Can we even blame Konami for this? Feel free to discuss.

Dueling Network and YGOPRO going down is a really heavy blow to the community. Konami is not responsible for these actions however. Konami did know about free sims like DN in the past so the bigger blame is Nihon Ad Systems, the people who own the art for the cards themselves.
