Groove Coaster 2 Original Style (iOS/Android) (formerly Groove Coaster Zero)

Thank god, honestly I just found about this game yesterday. While I agree that the timing is a bit off on Android phones (HTC One M8) I might buy some IAP because I'm really digging the game's charts and tunes.

A new paid music pack DLC is available on the store today: the "Xeami vs. Tatsh Pack", containing the following songs:

聖者の鼓動 / 世阿弥 [Seizya no Kodo / Xeami]

Level 70 Right now.
The default song list is small. Is level 100 the last song you unlock? Is there more after that?

And for people that think the AD-LIBS sounds are missing(and touching the screen with no note)
They aren't. Go to your settings and change your sound options to level 4. Adlibs and Screen tapping is there.

Well, there should be more song unlocks come levels 130 (COZMIC OPERATION), 160 (World Collapse), and 200 (Got more raves?).

Does the 48-song Original Set contain any of the same songs as the 32-song niconico Set and 16-song Kagerou Set? (or any other set on the Android app's store?)

Guys, Please remember to save your game after each session.. I just formatted my phone thinking that just having a taito ID would save me.. No.. I lost everything and have to start ALL over again. Please Don't do the same mistake i did.

When going to the Taito ID section I think it does say something similar to that and there's a Save and Load button.

It sucks.. i was around level 88 S+'d all the default songs(and free songs, didnt get the level 100+ Songs though).
If you have all the songs though, and you did what i did you still keep the songs. You just lose your ranks and your level.

A new event song, SiLent ErRors -Un-True-, was added yesterday. It appears that it will only be available during the duration of the event (ends 09/02/2015). By placing above rank 300 in the leaderboards for the song you earn a new title.

Pretty Nice song, I already reached Rank 1. And the album is discounted

New Zuntata Arrange pack available, and the latest version update has raised the level cap, so that players are able to unlock Got a pain cover? through level progression.

I don't know at what level is unlocked, as I'm still under Level 100...

EDIT: The new level cap is 300, so it makes sense to assume that it's also the unlock level of the "Got a pain cover?" song. From other users on the Internet, Level 250 also unlocks a song from GC2 Heavenly Festival, Play Merrily NEO.

GROOVE COASTER 2 (iOS) JUST GOT TOUHOU'D!!!!!! :D

I never thought that we'd EVER get any TOUHOU songs, but to my greatest surprise, TAITO just released 5 packs of awesome TOUHOU arrangements + new avatars! They are also also offering the packs at a discounted price!

Total for all packs: $24.99 (All songs + avatars)
Discount package: $19.99 (All songs + avatars)

I WILL BUY THESE ASAP!!!!!!!! This is probably the greatest thing to happen in GROOVE COASTER (iOS) history! :D


....one issue though, I'm not sure if they fixed (or will fix) the Japanese pricing, which is still at 2,400JPY for the discount package instead of 1,900JPY, as I believe it should follow. Hope this needs to be fixed because I'm on a JP account and 200+ JPY short. xD

EDIT: I had miscalculated the amount of packs (5 total), thus the JPY calculation is:

Total for all packs: 3,000 JPY (All songs + avatars)
Discount package: 2,400 JPY (All songs + avatars)

Got a fresh card and bought 'em today!! :)

Give the guys some time- they're used to release just 4 songs per month/2 months and call it a day! Touhou arrangements have been one of Taito music games' highest priorities since Music Gun!Gun!2, so we can safely state that more Touhou songs from the arcade will be coming in the future, now that something has been ported for the international mobile game :3

The Mobile version seriously needs to get updated with a different UI.. The UI on the arcade in a mobile friendly environment would be nice.

Oh and.. If you haven't noticed already.. The EXP scale has changed. It is HARDER to level up now.

If someone wants to gather up the release log information like it is in the OP and paste it here I can drop it in. I don't really have the spare time to keep up with this stuff myself anymore.

I'm currently at LV. 140 and yeah it's becoming quite difficult to level up now.
