furuhata's theme

I agree with T7J but Furuhata's was pretty popular back then, along with Rhythm and Police, Matsuri Japan, Dynamite Rave. Saint Goes Marching and other popular "speedy" songs.

oh i wasn't alive when it was popular

So you were born post-2000? That's after Ninzaburo came out in DDR. I never really played DDR until '02/03 (don't remember which specifically, though I do have some... obscure... memories), and it really isn't an excuse not to know, considering how far it made in the Best DDR chart tournament XD

I agree with Gutterpunk. That's a really fun song.

Has nobody mentioned High Energy yet? I really liked that one.

Seconding Radical Faith. Adding Movin' on (also from 5th mix), and Aftershock from X2.

"Focul tău nu ne mai încălzește"
GYRUSS -FULL TILT-, I'd consider underrated... I don't know why Senses (which is made by the same artist) got re-hashed so many times, when Gyruss is much better.

"Protecting The Emeralds And Gems"
Air by DJ Simon. EXTREME 2 CS was one of my first, and i remember liking the song and the chart because it hit my comfort zone back then. That and Quick Master (although i believe both of these are crossovers, Air from IIDX and Quick Master from......i want to say Pop 'N Music, but i may be wrong) Nobody EVER gives any love to Quick Master, that song is EPIC.

Tipical error. Aftershock and other songs appear in Universe 3.

Quick Master is indeed from Pop'n.
Speaking of Supernova, The Other Side (Radio Edit). The chart might not be the greatest (Just what are those gallops going to?) but the song is incredible.
I'm also still convinced that the best IIDX crossover in the history of DDR is BRIGHTNESS DARKNESS. 1: It's Sparker. 2: Excellent use of stops. 3: Good and challenging chart.

I'd have to say Inspiration from DDR X.
I'm yet to meet someone who actually likes that song.

Senses is the perfect Beginner's song on Heavy. It introduces the majority of patterns that players come across in other charts, at a reasonable tempo.

Senses remix has no excuse, however.

I didn't want to bring up the obvious, but yeah. Not underrated. Especially when 4 were nominated for best DDR Chart

Hi, my TakaTDM, I'm katamaris4ever. Inspiration was my ringtone throughout 2009. May we chat for a second?
LOVE THAT SONG, the chart's okay too.

As for some of the more "popular" underrated songs, I think it's because these songs haven't been in a recent mix as of late (I think Cartoon Heroes was exclusive to Extreme for example, although Extreme is probably the most prominent machine in the US right now.)
I just came to say hello.

Oh yeah, that song is nice, too. Had an X routine and everything. Guess it's too easy for people to play often? It's a dandy one for newbs to try and PFC, though.
