What the FUCK?! Is the entire thing just a 32nd drill the entire time?
It's an ITG 17, a joke chart. It has 24th streams, some 48ths, and some bracket jumps like in your Xepher edit. It's probably passable, but it's not meant as a serious chart.
48ths? Christ. The only time I've ever used those myself were for the short piano roll bursts in FFFFF.

You're right. You caught me guys. There's no such thing as chart preference, or admitting that the game is getting more physically demanding as time goes on. Shun anything that you can't pass, and become enraged at those who think that those charts are fun.

Unlike most of ZiV, I'm not completely opposed to hard charts. It's crappy charts that I don't like. I've never seen bracket jumps on double before, I don't know how possible they are. Your chart is better than some official charts (DEGRS), and without some of the jumps might be a feasible 20 for DDR. The bracket jumps and stretch jumps are too un-DDR-like.
ITG has "Stretch Jumps" sometimes like 1P Left and 2P Right. They are possible with practice, and there's a mod to disable them.

I don't find 7's intriguing either, LHoT, but I must say, anything above 16 isn't really fun...

7 footers aren't meant to be played on keyboard.
That's to play on foot and to have fun.
My edit wasn't made for keyboards either. It was made to play on foot and to have fun while doing so, what's your point? That's to play on foot and to have fun.
I can't wait to see you make a video of your attempt on foot.

You're just really lucky the ddr fanboys aren't here to crucify you.
16 old or new scale?
7's old scale suck.
7's new scale suck.
16 old scale, I'd imagine are just garbage...I mean, if Relinquished would be a 10, then I'd hate to see a 16.

The jumps are a technique called "bracketing," essentially you place the ball of your foot over the brackets, hit one arrow with your toes, and the other with your heel. Do it simultaniously. It takes a while to build up the muscle memory to do it exactly, but once you get it down it's not too much more difficult than a regular step.ITG has "Stretch Jumps" sometimes like 1P Left and 2P Right. They are possible with practice, and there's a mod to disable them.
More complex bracketing would be like my V For Extreme edit that I made a few years back, which requires you to rock back and forth on your toes and heels alternatively. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=dXARzpqPxC8#t=110s Like so. That's a very complex technique though. Doing them as jumps is simple by comparison.

I play from 6-11 old scale. I don't mind 7's, but I don't like "generic 7" charts to intense sounding songs.

It's wrong to call that top-tier.
I mean, I'd have thought top-tier like...people getting mfc's more often than a person in the world gets aids, but nooooo.

In all seriousness I did tell him the chart was retarded. The big problem with PIU like charts in a DDR game is the fact that the window in PIU is bigger then 42 year old whore's vagina. In DDR that window is a lot tighter and you have to be more accurate. Oh and once you fail on DDR... You actually fail, on PIU you can get your bar back and still pass.

Chart opinion is partially subjective, especially when it comes to harder charts. Some people may find FREEDOM DiVE [FOUR DIMENSIONS] to be a stupid chart, but there are people who have fun playing it as well.
I think people need to stop bashing the chart and realize that the point of this thread is not to say (or overload the thread) how you feel about the chart he made. It's about sharing edits for DDR X2.
