Easiest songs by rating

The only song I'd really challenge on Rayword's list is Shiny World. I do agree it is highly rated but I feel La Libertad is not 14 material either.

La Libertad has a lot of awkward gallops and some tricky crossover-triplets. I'd say it's fine as a 14, and Xepher still should be a 14.

Xepher is fine as a 15, granted you're talking about the chart. And even so, Xepher is firmly planted in the 13 range. La Libertad is OK as a 14, but it's nowhere near equitable to either Xepher chart.

= Hard 14

Maybe I just don't get it? The beginning, while fast, is fairly simple, so once you get the rhythm down, it's like a faster So Deep. The ending, while dense, is still fairly simple.

PS is a 14, and it completely owns Xepher.

Throwing in my lot for Xepher/Challenge being a 14.

Well, I find it tougher than Max 300, which is a 15, and Konoko no nanatsu no oiwani, which is what I think a "hard 14" would be. Besides, compare it to other 14s--FIRE FIRE, La Libertad, the RDA 14s... None of them hold a candle to Xepher. It's a very draining chart that's pretty tough to PA, which are the makings of a chart harder than 14.

Funny, I find it easier. Especially when Xepher essentially has a cool down point in the middle and MAX 300 does not.

There are plenty of "low 15s" in the game already that lump in with Xepher fine. To name a few...

If Konami actually changes Sakura Sunrise to 15, then that song will be the easiest 15 no question.

If there's any 14 that's too easy... It's Haunted Rhapsody! o_O

I passed La Libertad 1x no bar vivid on an Energy home pad recently -- therefore, it is a 13. You have to admit that it is easier than Brilliant2U Stream Special, B4U Voltage Special, and AM-3P Chaos Special (I don't know if those songs deserve to be rated 14, though). Also, I can't pass Cartoon Heroes (at least, not under the aforementioned conditions), and isn't it 13 on the new scale?

Unfortunately since Cartoon Heroes never saw the light of Supernova and beyond, we won't ever know its true new rating, but the general consensus seems to be that it's an average 14. But I still stand by my opinion, as much as I like the song, Haunted Rhapsody is totally the easiest 14.

Seule is the easiest 13.
Easier than 12's.
Easier than 11's.

Afronova should be a 6 (9-10 on X-scale)

Strangely, I always thought of HVAM as borderline 8 material. Double-stepping isn't too hard at 192bpm.

Other 9s I find harder, such as Leading Cyber, Xenon, and Colors Oni.

I always thought of it as an easy nine to pass, but very difficult to combo.

That's when you know you've been playing DDR for -FAR- too long. Do you guys even remember how hard it was to learn that stuff? On that note, New York EVOLVED could be an easy 7.
