Are you sure that you aren't thinking of Matsuri Japan (from nonstop megamix)? It's the only other song, off the top of my head that uses that telephone robot video.
I haven't seen R&P's bg video on Party Collection (I know its video on Extreme AC), but maybe they replaced that notorious demon.avi random movie with the telephone robot.

Yeah telephone dude was used in at least the US version of DDRMAX. I always found him weirdly placed yet oddly appropriate for the song. Maybe its the way he dials which is odd in a funkadelic kind of way.

Oh, right I forgot that it was an unlockable license (IIRC) in about DDR MAX USA. Thanks for the heads-up.

I also thought it was a heart, but somewhere (forgot) I read that it was a fetus, and that seems a hell of a lot more clear to me

It's a rabbit in a jumpsuit. The best part was her doing aerobics in THE WHISTLE SONG. Made perfect sense.

Also, there's a background clip of these creepy blue things with big mouths floating around. I don't know what they are but they still creep me out a bit.

What also gets me is some more "random movie fodder" as you called it. That weird, man thing that is shown dancing in Twilight Zone as well as jumping around in PARANOiA ETERNAL.

How about the coalescing ball of white goop that shows up in END OF THE CENTURY and HYSTERIA's bg videos in Extreme ARC? And... I swear, there's one clip that plays in CELEBRATE and a few other early mix songs, that looks like there's an Afro Ken doll staring at you in the darkness for half a second. Ergh.
