Apparantly, my voice is really weird, because I don't have an accent, and English isn't my first language.

Did you guys like the format? Specifically the format of one segment of current DDR "news" discussion, and one segment of us talking about old music games?

Anyway, updates :

* We're good to record the first episode as soon as DDR II comes out, and we can talk about it.

* We can definately use music in the same way we did in the first episode without any worries, so all the episodes will include music.

* Lots of people have asked to appear on future podcasts, which is awesome. DDR II is obviously very hot right now, so we'll probably be talking about that, but not in the way you might expect, and certainly not in the boring old "list all the things in the game and talk about whether we like them" format that most gaming podcasts use.

* We need name suggestions ASAP, so I can set up a feed.

* I don't think Aegis listened to it :{

You totally caught my atenttion, Bust A Move was the first dance game series I ever played (even before DDR).

Well guys we still need name suggestions for this podcast, some of my suggestions (along with others) are:

- ZIvcast
- ZIvOP
- Maniac Mode
- 4 Panel Radio
- DDR Bass! DDR Bass!

Any more suggestions would greatly help you guys as we are trying to aim for sometime the end of this week to get the 1st episode out to the site for all to hear

I like ZIvcast, it's a single word that's easy to say, easy to remember, and describes what it is.

Seconding ZIvcast for the same reason.

Just posting to let you guys know that I enjoyed the podcast. A few things I noticed...
-Music audio is WAY to loud.
-There was no Kiss Kiss Kiss remix on SuperNOVA...

other then that it was really well done. It will be cool if you guys will include some players into the podcasts in the future. Can't wait to hear more.

The inevitable Dr. D interview :3

Ray from The ZG Podcast has kindly donated a hardware mixer and a Noise Gate, so the sound quality for the show has just gone up by 10,000%

Show 1 is mostly written, and I'm making the musical cues right now. We're going to record tonight, and then bounce up and down excitedly until DDR II comes out, so we can talk about that, give our thoughts on the gameplay, and play some of the new Konami Original songs on the show.

The second segment is going to be about a game we've never actually played, but hopefuly we can shed some light on the topic, and dispel some of the long-running myths surrounding it.

Once DDR II is out, if anyone wants to write short (twitter style) comments to be read out on the show, we might be able to squeeze them in. If you leave a comment, please include a note of how to pronounce your username. Max and I can't even agree on how to pronounce 'Bemani', so xXMokou98Xx probably isn't going to be any easier for me ^^;

Love the new name
Definitely something for all the old-school DDR fans (considering the first DDR game I ever played was Extreme2, and I was 12 at the time), and I'm really looking forward for the 1st episode.
