Same here, though I merged these two with 3rdMIX PLUS, because when I obtained simfiles for ver.KOREA2, the ver.KOREA simfiles were already with the 3rdMIX PLUS folder.

It's entirely up to you how you choose to bundle them, but 3rdMIX ver.KOREA (and ver.KOREA 2 as well, for that matter) came out before 3rdMIX PLUS (which was a Japan-only release), and the 9 ver.KOREA 2 songs have not been seen on *any* other Arcade mix of DDR.

Which is a shame really because those were the better ones I think. Korean remix of Another One Bites the Dust? Hell yes.

I grew up on Korean ver.2, but holy hell, is it bad and full of too much jumping. I think Starian singles and Gagaii doubles are pretty solid contenders for "worst chart in DDR"

So did I, but I played 4thMIX much more. I liked them because I didn't hear them all the time. Hearing all the Korean exclusives together on one machine made it feel more complete. I really wish Konami had decided to keep going with the Korean music trend. It would have kept the heat on the Pump It Up series.

This. Most of the SSR charts were too biased towards jumps (the other charts are Ok - I guess they ran out of time or got lazy!), but the music was great (IMO).

Disclaimer: I didn't grow up on ver.KOREA 2 (first time I ever played it was when I realised it could run on any Asian 3rdMIX as they used the same security cassette, all it needed was a way to force the game reinstall - you can't do this with any other version of DDR).

I don't see the Another One Bites The Dust/아름다운 21C connection, am I missing something?

That never crossed my mind when I heard it, it's not similar enough.

I know it's not really a remix of the same song, but that is the very first thing that came to mind when I played the song some eight years ago.

There is absolutely no connection whatsoever between these songs.


Then you may enjoy the dance game "Pump It Up". It has some of the songs in Korean ver.2, but gives them good charts!



One of these charts is fun!

PIU Crazy charts being more fun is a double-edge sword, the other edge being they don't always fit with the music. I don't need I think I need to tell you about Get The Party Started. And since it's open for debate, let's not talk about it here. I believe there's a debate forum on this site?

After some thought I found out that even Rapper's Delight would also be easily confused for a remix of Another Bites The Dust.

"Rapper's Delight" is Chic's "Good Times" with flowing on top of the music.
