And do you encrypt your work such that I would be unable to adjust the theme in the future? How else would you keep people from re-distributing your work? I may do special events and want to change some of the basic elements (like title pictures) to suit the occasion.
Anything for SM-SSC or SM5 would be compiled Lua for speed and professional reasons. All of the other code would be compatible with those platforms and would be freely readable by anyone. We aren't keeping people from re-distributing, we are creating something that's worth paying for. Our hope is that what we create is something people will not pirate for the sheer fact that they paid for it. If you wanna pile in a bunch of money with friends and pay for a theme, fine; but if you wanna pile in 200 people's money and pirate it around; that's just not fair to us. Feel free to do special events; if it's worth your money, it's worth our time. No extra fees for that kind of stuff.

I have asked for and received permission from all necessary personnel; 4-Panel Footprint, Inc is a legal entity; an incorporated facility. I did a number of podcasts in 2007 during which I interviewed stepfile artists and general people in the community. Because of those connections, I got to know these people. Is everyone this hostile? This is also completely off-topic and has nothing to do with the notion of purchasable themes.
Bull. Fucking. Shit. There is NO WAY you got Konami's, nor any of the licensed artist's permission to use their files or songs, you lying cunt.
Here's more examples of his shitty themes.

I've checked, and he appears to have a greenlight for DDR Encore stuff. Just throwing that out.

Thank you, and have a nice day.

What pisses me off is that my friend did art for his "business" and was NEVER given his money and this little worm keeps using it in his effort to make a buck whatever half-assed way he can.

If the friend you're talking about is who I think it is, I live with said friend and get to hear all about this nice Saturn guy on a fairly regular basis. From what I've been shown, Saturn's theming ability is horrifying at best, and his knowledge of everything Stepmania seems to be extremely limited.
By the way, I saw the pictures of his work as they were being pulled down, thanks to previously mentioned friend showing me those. Way to yank a bunch of images from the default sm-ssc theme you lousy and lazy sack of crap.
Are you really thinking people would buy themes for a free game? Especially themes like what I've been seeing?

Question for you: what do you mean about courses going blank after song five?
How much would you charge to make those fixes above? And do you encrypt your work such that I would be unable to adjust the theme in the future? How else would you keep people from re-distributing your work? I may do special events and want to change some of the basic elements (like title pictures) to suit the occasion.

Calorie Counter has no bugs, the bugs are what I listed (Long/Marathon, Subtitle, etc.)
I would be willing to pay if you had a theme better than what I currently use, I haven't seen one yet. I also run low-end PC's so nothing HD here, I'm not sure I would have a good framerate with a more demanding theme so I'd really like to keep it very similar to what I have now. And I completely understand about the Base theme, I use StepMania 4.0 but with ITG PC as the base theme. The theme I have over it is ITG 2 because it doesn't have the broken Singles %/%% Doubles %/%% which LITERALLY takes my computer 40+ minutes to calculate because I have about 7000 simfiles, the ITG 2 theme takes no time to get to the title screen.
Let me know how much.
