I wasn't on Concepción until wednesday of the past week. The earthquake stroke the city and destroyed, well, pretty much of Concepción and its nearby cities. Per example, Talcahuano, a coastal city at the side of Concepción, was hit by the earthquake AND a tsunami, so you can imagine how it is now.
Like Galo said, after the evident fear of such an earthquake people started to steal on stores, markets and even on houses.
So, until today, I didn't have electricity, phones and food. We still don't have water.
Despite of all those things, I'm fine. My house doesn't have many broken things (or at least, the things that are broken didn't have much value) and my family is OK.
Oh, and we have a curfew now, and military everywhere. It sucks, but at least, the people stopped to steal.

Thank god you're alright. When I heard on the news that Concepcion was hit by a major earthquake my eyes went O_O and I rushed up to my computer.
It was tense, but I'm glad you weren't affected too greatly. What a relief.
