Country music has been found to be the one of the main causes of depression/suicide in America. Because of it's sad and slow melody (and annoying voices) most people would tend to cover their ears to keep away the noise, if it keeps going on and on, it may lead to suicide. So country music is more deadlier to listen to than Heavy Metal and Hardcore Rap.

I saw that, and it's true! I want to kill the radio when I hear country that I don't like.
(Oh yeah, and Britney and Madonna's Me Against the Music (Which was put on DDR under the alias of Helen) isn't as bad as her other songs. It's very fun to actually dance to.)

I'm not a total fan of country music, but I'd take it over the modern degenerated-from-hiphop garbage anyday. Country at least resembles bearable music while that *other* type of music does not. It has no meaning other than why we should worship and/or fear the one delivering the lyrics, stirs up no emotion in me whatsoever other than rage at the song and those who like it, and people only like it because it has a beat (and not a very appealing one). It's sad because much older hiphop is pretty good.
Poor poor generation...

I can't stand listening to rap music today. I find it repelling. I hate it when they take old songs and re-use them. They sound terrible. That's why I stick to my good old classic rock (like in the 60's up to the late 90's, maybe early 00's on a rare occasion)
The only thing I'll listen to that is new is Bemani music, but that's pretty much it.

Rap music nowadays is basically crap lyrics over a decent beat. Some stuff they say is sorta funny, but the rest is uncultured horse shit. I've got it down to a science: Chorus is about sex, 1st verse is about drugs, second verse is about sex (again), thrid verse is about guns, and the break is laughing at dude who got shot. Bullshit music. Rap music died in 1996.

I think you guys may be stereotyping...
I guess when people think of rap/hip-hop, they think of Lil-Wayne, T-Pain, Flo Rida etc... you know, the mainstream rap artists. And then just about everyone that you know think that their music is the best, so it just gets annoying.
That's pretty much the same with mainstream in itself. People like it either because 1) They ACTUALLY like it or 2) They want to fit in with everyone else.
Poeple that don't like mainstream music either 1) They just don't like it or 2) They HAVE to be against the norm
I'm 1 for liking mainstream and 1 for not liking mainstream. I like some songs, I don't like some songs. It doesn't mean just because I'll like a flo rida song (I like his remix of right round) doesn't mean I'm not allowed to like NAOKI Underground. It's just your opinion.
