What was the funniest thing you have ever seen someone do while playing DDR

Probably the worst thing I've ever seen is some poor guy hit the down arrow two times just as a moderate player was selecting Max 300, bumping the difficulty from Standard to Heavy. Quite a shouting match broke out after that.

Just remembered an awesome one a friend did.

He made a stoic Doubles edit with a single middle jump at the very beginning. He used it for a freestyle in which he just sat in the middle of the pad and imitated the IIDX video. With Afro providing back-up head-banging on the screen, it was one of the funniest freestyles I'd ever seen.

No, I forgot what grade he got, but it wasn't a AAA.

He had his back turned to the screen, so he would've had to gauge the timing by the bass at the beginning. Plus, he was already seated at the beginning of the song, so he had to "jump" up and hit the arrows with his butt. I think he got a Great on that jump.

I think the most funny thing that happened to me was...
one day I went to arcades hall to play Extreme and there was this guy who really wanted to pass difficult songs like TLOM on Extra Stage or PSMO (normal scroll). so he was whoring those songs all day. Next time I went there he came to me to say hi and asked me if I could try to play PSMO. Not sure if he wanted to see me fail...Anyway I said ok, why not at least I will play the song once. To my and to all other's people's surprise I cleared the song (with C). after that I turned around and saw all the people with their mouths open and gaping at me. that made me laugh so hard that I let other people finish my two songs.

also what made me laugh was mary's expression one day. I was playing when she entered the arcades and I was already sweating pretty much. when she saw me she ran straight to me, jumped on the platform and embraced me. a second later she let go of me finding out that I'm all sticky and wet. well can't describe her facial expression but it made my day. a month later at the same arcades hall pretty much the same happened with the exception that it was mary playing and me entering the place. after many finished playing she ran to me and embraced me once again. then she realized what she did and probably remembered the first time she embraced me and started to apologize. (so it was both of us being wet)

And Howie's imagination has just gone off the deep end.

The funniest thing I can remember is some idiot playing Midnight Special heavy, no bar, and falling on their ass while trying to hit the last four jumps. Still AA'd it, but it was hilariously stupid.

...Oh wait... that was me. Oops.

RTCB: that's probably my case even though it was passing PSMO and failing Secret Rendez vous.

Only thing I could think of when I had just started discovering the joy that was bar jumping and freestyling. This was probably back in 2001 for me...

I was at Six Flags: Great Adventure with my family and low and behold, there's a DDR 3rd: Korean v1 machine there. I look at the people playing, I figured, "I'm better than them. Let's do a little freestyling."

So of course, it being a 3rd mix machine, I gotta bullshit a freestyle with Dynamite Rave. Everything is going fine and peachy up until the bar jump part (No, I do not bust my face into the machine). I'm ready to do a bar jump, I get off the pad and I'm ready to jump! Suddenly...

One of guys who was crappily playing before me get up on MY pad and is ready to play. He's crazy if he thinks that I'm done playing. Unfortunately for him, I'm not. So, with him in position on the pad, and me flying in the air, what can we expect to happen here?

I crash right into him, he crashes right into the machine and falls to the ground. I continue playing and he looks at me all pissed like it's my fault I got back on the pad and ran into him.

I kinda just laughed about it since then. I've never really had any incidents as extreme as that one. Especially with stupidity with a DDR like that.
