Exactly. Realistically, they would all be 1 footers, but Konami thinks faster speeds would be more difficult for newbies (which is not necessarily true based on people I've watched). That's the rule, and of course there are exceptions, like DDR is a 3 and the SN boss songs are 4.

Unless you memorize all possible step patterns, and are able to AAA all of those, then yes, it would be quite impossible. Also, there's really no reason to use x8 and a blindfold when using Stealth and Shuffle.

Well, it is impossible, except by purest luck, because you have no way of knowing which step pattern it'll be.

I agree that the x8 is superfluous, but the blindfold would actually make it substantially harder, because a fair amount of your balancing ability depends on your eyes. Just try doing the LRLRLR pattern SM uses for adjusting the machine offset with your eyes closed, and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway to get back on topic I just remembered another somewhat very easy song. Sandstorm is easy... well at least up to the point it will actually follow the rhythm then it gets more harder.

Hardest basic and difficult song would go to PARANOiA Hades. On occasion, I can't beat that song on basic.

I actually beat PARANOiA HADES on . Granted, I only passed with what would be a C (I actually played it on ITG2 r21), but I found it to be a bit easier than, of all things, MAX 300 (Super-Max-Me Mix) , which, for some reason, I can't clear (I always fail on the run at the end).
