I wouldn't if only because it's always been Dancing Stage and Konami could have tried to change it many times in the past had they really wanted to, so I can't see a good reason to change it now.
Also I logically don't see how this rumour holds much reason since how does changing the title of the game solve the problem?

I'd still play the game regardless of it's name but I do think that 'Dancing Stage' has become such a staple that it would seem odd to change it now.

The judgments don't necessarily have to change. It can be released everywhere at the same time, but one machine can't be global, because the Japanese game isn't written in English.

The Judgements have already been changed, unfortunately to the "everyone is a winner" version used in the Americas and Europe / Oceania.

And the Japanese version is no different from any other release of DDR, all they do is use different character bitmaps for some of the text in the menus. And previous versions didn't have any Japanese. At this point they build the engine first and slap the language for the region of release on last.

Japanese product is the best, right?

AM is abbreviation for Amusment Machine.
