I knew it! You all hate it!!!
Well...I got it....and it's okay.... The arrows are switched which confuses me >.<
And occasionally it is off sync.....
........
I got it at Gamestop, used, for $15.... Can I take it back for full refund, or does there have to be something "wrong" with it, in order to take back a used game?

I don't think they take refunds for used games. Check your receipt, it might have the return details on it.

Are you absolutely sure that they don't take refunds for used games? I was just guessing.
You might be able to exchange it too. As in, you give it back to them and they give you $15 store dollars (Meaning you HAVE to spend the money there).

I might be able to do that. I'd just spend the money on a DDR game there anyway. They have the cheapest because it's used.

Wait, I want to know, how hard is it if you tell it to generate the hardest chart it can?

Wow, what a plot twist!! It's good that you're returning the game. I also wanted to buy the game because it sounded too good to be true....and it was too good to be true. I'm not here to bash your decision. In fact, I support it! You learn from your mistakes and it happens (I'm looking at you, Sonic Heroes
)
It's a good thing that you're willing to return it though. Might as well ask:
Did it have Doubles?

I can't answer that, but we've seen what autogenerated Doubles charts look like on DDR, and it's not good. There's a lot of awkward stepping and just weird patterns.

I remember a couple attempts to play autogenerated Doubles on Stepmania. It was just the singles chart, but it would shift right every few measures until it hit the right side, then it'd start slowly shifting back left. >_<

Taking everything into account, DDRMAX2 and Extreme 2 were the best quality, most rounded releases in America so far. The only other mix that comes close is Ultramix 2 (with the first 12 song packs).
Definitely pick up DDRMAX2 if you don't already have it. No self-respecting home player should be without it.

Another (limited) source for DDR games is goozex.com. It's a game trading site. You can trade your old games into the system and then request other games (for $1 per trade), but you can also just buy games outright, and often the prices are good. For example, DDRMAX2 is 200 points and is currently available. You can buy 100 points for $5, so that works out to $10, plus a trade credit ($1), but you get one free trade credit when you sign up. Also after your first successful outgoing trade you get credited 100 points extra. Being able to buy/trade for a game is dependent on whether or not others are putting their copies of the games up for trade, of course, and at the moment DDRMAX2 is the only one actively available. Similarly being able to trade your games into the system is dependent on others wanting your games (good luck trying to trade Dance Factory into the system, but then again, if you can't return it, it doesn't hurt to put it up for trade on goozex). You have to be patient and some games may never become available and/or never be requested.

I already know about Goozex, but thanks anyway!. I already added all the DDR games they had to my list (even though I don't haven have 100 credits cause some guy sent me a PC game I didn't want >.<) But the DDR games are 150 credits or more. Stoopid stoopid me...
Anyway, after I took back Dance Factory the guy at the counter was like "Hah, happens everytime" So instead I got DDRMAX2. I'm a little disappointed because it doesn't have a challenge mode. Plus after I play certain songs it just freezes and I have to restart my PS2. Well next time I get money , I'll probably get Extreme.... Or DDRMAX.... >.<
Cause DDR is like 1/4 my life! (anime/manga is another fourth, friends are another fourth and then the last is eating/sleeping =P)

MAX2 isn't supposed freeze up. Go switch it for another copy if you can.
