So I looked it up, and the theme for this year's Beatmania IIDX are concerts, conventions and idol fan events (according to Remywiki)
There are now folders for difficulty levels, different Beatmania IIDX games, and new player recommendations.

Also these are what the characters look like.

The girl character looks so amazing in pink, it really suits her. Also, that boy character made pink look cool!

I like how the mode selection screen at 01.:06 shows off the animated elements on the selected mode icon & also shows the minimaps of each halls, which makes sense given the theming of this version.

I saw on the Remywiki a few days ago a release date of October 9th, but was taken down shortly thereafter. But expect the release around the end of the current Arena period on Epolis on October 10th.
