Not to be a burden, but there's a slight problem with your sim...The music keeps skipping randomly. This is no biggie, it's merely a glitch with SM when it plays a song with a low Hz level (under 44100). Never fear though! I have made a near-exact duplicate of the song so that there's no skipping, and it stays on-sync. Hmm. I thought the small RAR size would concern some, and it does.

Here's what I do to obtain a song: If there's an mp3 file, I'll download that and use Audacity to cut it if necessary (when I do, I export it as .ogg). If it's on Youtube, I use a program to download videos, convert the .flv file to .mp3 (easier to convert than .ogg), and cut it using Audacity.

Do any of my other simfiles (under RBCF Originals) have this problem? Do I need to add another step to this process?

I'm not really sure if any of your others have it (^^;;; ), but here's how to fix the problem so it doesn't repeat. You're using Audacity, right?

Simply look in the bottom-left corner at "Project rate". If that number is anything lower than 44100, click on it and set it to 44100, then simply Export. ;)

the song isn't the real intro but a shortened version of the long version. everything is complete i've got Beginner to Expert done in single. i plan to leave it at that. i don't think anyone plays a lot of doubles in stepmania
