UPDATE: Two new simfile rules added:
Submitted files must not be critiqued until voting week begins. This is so no one gains any unfair advantage.
Files must be marked private when first uploaded. This is to prevent anyone outside of the contest to criticize files before that voting week.

Alright, I suppose I should promo my file:
I Forgive You/ Kelly Clarkson

So, if I've known me recently, you might know exactly why I wanted to step this. If not, the graphics would probably also clue you into what inspired me to step this song! This song's normally a little out of my usual tastes, but when I heard of it, it definitely felt a little nostalgic- it reminds me of another pop song I've listened to before, but can't exactly put my finger on. That, combined with the general context that the song was featured, definitely tugged at my heartstrings a little bit, and I couldn't help but share the joy!
Anyways, 's your standard air-heavy 12- I don't think it will win any awards, but it should be fine enough, and I tried to make it a little interesting. I also liked how the chart turned out- it has a lot of the 8th patterns from the more difficult chart, but also is a tad bit easier.
Also, I am responsible for stepping the version of the song that will appear on DDR Universe 4. Yes, I can attest that this simfile is in compliance with rule 9 of the contest's rule's- to my knowledge, no one from the DDR Universe 4 team critiqued the version of the song I charted that will appear there.

Time to Fight! (Bionis' Shoulder) / Kenji Hiramatsu

It's a damn shame most fights in Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected are so short, because you never get to hear this glorious disco battle theme play in full while actually playing the game. Actually you still don't get to hear the full thing since I had to chop off about 90 seconds in order to meet the contest rules, but it's still more than you'd get to hear normally.
And... yeah, I hate how long the cut is too. You'd be surprised at how difficult this was to actually cut without it sounding like crap. Don't worry, none of my other planned songs go over 2:10.

Okay, so I can't guarantee this is what will happen throughout the entire contest while I'm in it...but at the very least I wanted to see if I could get one original under my belt and include it in some way.
