Quite late to the party but, can I join in? I would like to test my best.

This Battle Royale will be the first to put into place the new 1-10 voting system from Tower of Eight Panels! How this system works is instead of distributing 15 points among you favorite files, you will instead rate every file in a round from 1-10! Feel free to rate files however you want using this scale, as points will be given based on the files' average score. All ratings should be whole numbers, no decimal ratings.

A brand new scoring system for Battle Royale!

Making its debut in this contest is a brand new scoring system! This is how scoring is going to work from here on:

At the end of each round of voting, each file will have a final average score, which is the average of every rating given to that file. All individual file average scores will be averaged into an overall average. Players will receive a point for every 0.1 their file is above the overall average.

In addition, participants will get an extra 1 point for participating in a round.

A scoring example

Let's say for example I submit a file for a round for the song QUANTUMFLUX by xRGTMx. After voting for that round ends, my file ends up with an average score of 7.9. The overall average score for that round ends up being 6.3. Since my file is 1.6 points above the overall average, I end up with 16 points for that round.

This also means that if your file meets the overall average or falls below it, you will receive no points for that round.

Small scoring fix

To avoid people who participated from getting completely screwed over if their file falls below average, every participant in a round will get an extra 1 point for participating. Just a small update!
