God, I really wish people around here (and everywhere else for that matter) would stop calling this a catch-up mix! Guess what? Open your eyes! They have ALL been so-called catch-up mixes! Ever since DDRMAX!
And now, even though I have stated what is the unquestionable truth... you will all continue to call it a catch-up mix.
The next person who calls it a catch-up mix, will cause all of you to invoke my wrath and I will use my evil magical powers to cast a powerful curse upon this game!! You have been warned.

This is kind of off-topic, but wouldn't you crap yourself silly if you found out that Caramelldansen by Caramell was in the game? |
I'd tingle a little, and play it quite alot, if it was the speedymix. ONLY if it was the speedymix.
Now, I'd have to drive 30 minutes home and back to change my pants if I played it for the first time and I saw the Popotan girls doing their dance in the background, with the pretend-ears and all the distraction and whatnot. XD I just like the song because of the priceless expressions my friends got while first-time playing my simfile for it with the background and whatnot.

Also, DDR X is a catch-up mix.

come on, he asked for it...

I agree with Unknown Gamer. It's not a catch-up game if it's songs that are new to us. And besides, there will be a Japanese version that has a lot of songs we don't. The two regions are NEVER going to be at the same level.

祭 JAPAN(FROM NONSTOP MEGAMIX)
MY SUMMER LOVE(TOMMY'S SMILE MIX)
STILL IN MY HEART(MOMO MIX)
I would look weird of these the only 3 songs with only 1 difficuilty. Unless Konami has another non-stop songs from their soundtrack.
I wish Konami added the song : Midnite Blaze NonStop Mix.

Did you place some of the arrows on 64ths solely to make them harder to see? Because those things we nigh invisible with those things dancing in the background. Didn't keep me from passing though (barely).

Nope, the 64ths were because the high-hat or whatever sharper drum element in the background fired around halfway between 8ths, but a little after the 16ths... kind of like on Go *60* Go. Of course, it makes it harder, too.

Go *60* Go actually uses 24ths, but they're quantized as 64ths. You figure it out after playing it a lot. XD

Hmm, I'll look at that next time I play ITGPC.
Never considered they might be quantized incorrectly, with RoXoR being good about timing and quantization usually. I don't feel like changing CarmellDansen, though.

I'm pretty sure Foy did the 64ths on Go 60 Go purposely.

Hey guys, found something interesting.
http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7669476
CD Universe has this listed as well, so I guess that puts more weight behind it. But more interestingly, look at the release date that this site has on it:
"Scheduled to release Wednesday, September 17, 2008"

Found another...interesting thing as well.

When searching "Hottest Party" on the site, you get two products that are identical in name, picture, and info. Except, one has been released, and one is "future". Specifically, this one is supposed to be released on October 8th.

Haha, great find! Now if only other sites would have this up....
Even though there isn't concrete info about this game yet, the fact that CDUniverse mentions that the game is PS2 only makes me want to believe that this is really a catch-up mix! (There, I said it again!
)
To say the least, X kinda makes sense since this would be the 10th DDR Playstation game here in the US.

Or just that it's the 10th anniversary. Either way, the game after it would probably be called XI, since pairs of games have a common name or theme.

OK I've been getting unusually ambitious. Here's my current work in progress take on Difficult level steps for Till the Lonely's Gone: Link.
I've updated the banner as well.
Can't wait to finish it and compare to Konami's version. No doubt theirs will be ten times better but I'm having fun so far so I don't mind.
