I had some problems with the way that ZIV handled my file, so I reuploaded and fixed the metadata. It is in as a new entry, with the same steps and song cut, but the title romanized. I hope that I won't have to do this again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Is anyone else having trouble getting BOSS RUSH (DJ Noriken Remix) to actually show up in Stepmania?

Renaming the file type to .ssc and adding [Round 1] - to the file names in the file did the trick.
That being said it's SM5 only.

The file is named "[Round 1] - BOSS RUSH (DJ Noriken Remix)" when the .sm just reads "BOSS RUSH (DJ Noriken Remix)". Reloading the songs in Stepmania might/should fix it.

That worked, thanks. Turns out the file has split timing but was mistakenly uploaded as a .sm rather than a .ssc.

@brunobg You think you've been out of the game... this is my first simfile in 5, maybe 6 years! Nonetheless...
Since the song itself is a '90s throwback, I went old-school on the charts, and didn't use any Freeze or Shock Arrows. But I did add a background script using Beware's Max-Extreme video clips. Specifically the clips from Extreme that borrowed animations from the old games.
