We got info from this guy over at the DDR Online Community (his s/n is mathiasddr, full name Mark Mathius) that he just ordered a DDR X AC and it should arrive at this one arcade in Corpus Christi, TX sometime this weekend. He will provide pictures and video of the arcade machine so that we can get a clear picture of just how the machine looks like and works...

Awesome.Smile

Maybe its a good thing IIDX and GF/DM were never officially released in the US. We'd probably use the bass stage and have Guitar Hero AC guitars.

Hold on, I just thought of something. If the X machine are going to be USB, then there's no need for a computer program! The next set of home version DDRs can have it where you can get your edit data to your USB, and with 150 DLC songs...Wink

Sucks...but i guess they realized that maybe we are going to use the PS3 version and possibly the PS2 version to make the edits...

Hey! That's probably why the newest DDR logo shows up on the sides of the machine! It might just be the "program" that we need to make the edits! Konami you clever clever dog you Wink

...but why did you choose Betson for the DDR X AC? Annoyed

How did they fuck up this bad?Shocked I thought the lag has a little bad, but the arrows are not even half way up the screen and you have to hit them. I honestly don't know how it can get worse then this.

Well back it ITG.Roll Eyes

"I'm honestly pissed off."
Somebody want to take rotten fruit to Comic Con, in case Konami shows up?

I would just address the issue. Maybe talk to them about pad replacement/monitor replacement.

"Never Gonna (pass) Trim"
I have yet to test the DDR X hear Chicago, but I will try to see if I can do so on Sunday. If I can, I will post a video of that one.

Edit: Hopefully it won't be nearly as messed up as the Columbus one.

OK I think I get it.

Konami was going to make the machine but was coming close to a deadline, so they that chose Betson would make the machines. Do to little time to work and knowledge on making the machine, this would pissed off Betson. For Betson to get back at Konami, they would make the shitest DDR game ever to make Konami look bad.

...

That explains EVERYTHING!!!Surprised

Considering how Konami's been with DDR, I actually believe this.

It's possible to have lag beetween images and sound on youtube. But here, i really thing it's the arcade. Whoa... i'm shocked.
If something this bad came out in Europe, i'm in trouble. (no ITG or SN2 in france. So... travel or play SN1 >.<).

I'm crossing fingers, i follow the news of DDRX since the beginning, too long i'm waiting for this... Sad

Well, it could be worse if you actually had to hit the arrows when they weren't halfway up the screen, unlike how it really is. The lag was not that bad.

That being said, still inexcusable. I feel that if this game bombs though, it won't make KONAMI re-think their distributor, it'll make them re-think distribution at all. But, I somehow think it's a better use of resources to have no DDR than a half-assed one. Also, KONAMI has still failed the concept of a "global release."

What do you mean? Japan is the whole globe. It's out and doing fine there.

As far as the rest of the 99% other of us are concerned. No it's not. Tongue

Bump: By the way, anyone going to check our their potential DDR Xs should check the following points for me:

1. Check if DYNAMITE RAVE has their respective remixes remade.
2. Check END OF THE CENTURY to see if that's been remade.
3. Check if the graphical glitches I've noted in my two reports have been fixed. Check first post for report links.
