I thought any Asian DDR X3 cab not connected to e-Amuse will be stuck with only the default songlist?

Remember that feeling I had when I said that X3 will become the next EXTREME in the sense of importing the machine/HDD/thing that's inside the machine? Yeah, I think this is the route X3 is going to take in America.

That was quick; I swear I was only there this August and it was still only an X2.

Though it can't be Bemani Invasion's X3 machine, is it? How else can you explain all the songs except KAC songs being unlocked from the start? [Except That's The Way Challenge

, for some weird reason.] Still, if there will be more X3 machines popping up in the US like Extreme did, then I'm all for it. Smile

Yes, that would mean the machine is fully unlocked. No idea how they are plugged into e-amuse, must be PW that the arcade is plugged into.

Also, on that machine, what is the Extra Stage song? The Encore Extra Stage song?
(Specifically, what song(s) have their titles turn red and the pointers set to them by default on both stages?)

I guess we won't know until someone goes to the location and verifies this all/They have their own DDR X3 machine and they can play the song and stuff.

Give it time guys, we should all know most of X3 (except for the KAC songs) by the end of the year. Only then will X4 show us it's grace and wonderment.

I'm guessing they acquired that machine after it was legitimately connected to eAmuse, so it's probably not going to get the most recent updates and unlocks. Maybe Konami also realizes that X3 will become the next EXTREME and is dragging out the unlock cycle like this to discourage it.

It isn't uncommon for machines to get unplugged from the EAmuse network, and then end up on western shores in this state. A couple of fully-unlocked and partially-unlocked cabinets have passed through my local arcade, and none of them were in any way fishy.
