Dave & Buster's Times Square (NYC). Last time I used that machine, 1P Right, 1P Down, and 2P Right weren't working properly. 1P Right was actually stuck for the whole time I was there.

BTW, that machine was upgraded from SN1.

As far as the HD lag goes, I doubt that's a problem with Betson since that was fixed with a software update. Nothing makes sense. There's no DDR X NA site, USB slots instead of SD card, horrible pads, the HD lag is STILL there.. I still think we should just import our cabs like preSN days.

So the basic rundown it this:

-poll given for SD vs USB slots.... advertised to us SD cards... shipped with USB slots.... (wtf?!)
-lag issue not addressed
-pads are in terrible condition
-lower quality sound system
-no North American product site
-no information about step edit software (double wtf)
-betson seems producing when we were told they were distributing (triple wtf)
-more axed songs than before

It seems as if we've been lied to from the start. I must say this release might be worse than Supernova :-\

I assume you're saying Supernova 2 was a failure, which I disagree. Supernova 2 had a few problems, but over all, this was an excellent mix.

As far as upgrade kits, I don't think Konami has ever released a DDR that didn't have upgrade kits .

I hope to god it doesn't take three months for the official site to open.

Uh I think he is referring to the cabinet quality, not the game it self...which Betson probably as no way of modifying (I would hope...)
