Challenge was originally heavy. The difficulties were originally 2/5/6/9/-, but I wanted to make a chart that I could play on pad that wasn't too hard or too easy, so I moved heavy to challenge and made a new heavy chart. Anyhow, glad you liked it.

+5 Tenkuu nou banchou kiki juuroku renda: Even though the chart for this was the second chart I played this week, I already thought from then that I was probably going to give this a +5. This is an excellent example of how to use , , and Edit without any of them seeming like filler.

+4 Ring Ding Dong: Quite fun and reasonably difficult chart, though there may have been a little too many jumps toward the end. The hand was a nice touch; I didn't see it coming the first time around. Also, it took me about 4 or 5 plays (when I fixed the video) to realize this song isn't English...

+3 Bits & Bytes: Surprisingly good song choice; I may have to look up this artist soon. Also, I had no problem with the 70 BPM. This is charted well, and it's not overly easy like one may expect with a song like this (especially when it's charted at 70 BPM).

+2 ALL MY TURN -Kono turn ni oreno subete wo kakeru-: Good use of 16ths. You kept it from being too bland with the bursts of 16ths, but you didn't abuse them and make the chart overly difficult.

+1 Venus (Another Phaze Mix): It's a bit surprising that the was made as the original , considering how it was almost pushing to see how hard it could be without losing quality, and I'd say it stopped at a quite nice spot. The chart wasn't too bad either.

Honorable Mentions:
CODE0207 (DJ Yoshinori Remix): This almost got a +1, but Venus (Another Phaze Mix) filled out its potential a little better. Not a bad chart at all, but the way it cuts off is a tad annoying. A freeze could have fixed it, but I don't think there were any freezes in the chart, so that may have been a little weird (Fallen Angel definitely could have used a freeze though).

Thunderbolt: I'm not sure I think the is over-rated like most (the probably is though), but the charts are a little easier than one would expect from the song and the difficulty ratings. If the and (and possibly and , considering it's 3/7/8/9/10) had their rating lowered by one, it would probably seem a bit better.


Other Comments:
starmine: Not having the spins is fine (though I'm not sure if it's by chance that almost all of your files I've played have a lot of spins/doublesteps), but I think that not having any crossovers didn't really help, especially with a song that leaves no room for any non-8ths to help make things interesting.

Red Goose: Others have stated about the doublesteps and inconsistencies in the so I won't repeat them. I will say that I noticed that, whether intentional or not, the chart only has one doublestep that isn't fixed within a few measures.
I do think you should test your files indexing on the numpad, making sure to take note of when you have to use the same finger twice in a row to stay 'facing foward' (or if you test on the pad, try not to use the same foot twice in a row).

Not much time for review blurbs this week, seeing as how I'm working on something else

But, in general a very good week. At least half the files really impressed me in some way.

Excellent moderate use of 16ths, although I can't say I agree with all of them

Bits & Bytes:
I'll excuse you for the transmogrification of some 24ths/48ths to 32nds, but some of the patterns were just really strange

center piercing:
Great chart. Usually your tradeoffs in musical layers bug me, but this one works really well.

CODE0207 (DJ Yoshinori Remix):
A little bit dry, in my opinion, but not technically bad.

Dueling Violins:
My typical complaints. I'm sorry.

Floorfiller:
A good six-footer, but I don't have anything to say about a good six-footer

Keong Racun:
Hated the Challenge chart. Loved the Heavy chart.

Didn't impress me much. I kind of don't want another remix of Can-Can :/

Red Goose:
LET ME GIVE YOU ONE ADVISE. BURN THE ROOF DOWN NO DISGUISE Avoid charting Mutsuhiko Izumi until you can consistently pass 15's and 16's X-scale on foot. None of the 16ths-included section fits well, and the last half of the chart just died with respect to correct rhythm choice.

Ring Ding Dong:
RINGDINGDONGRINGDINGDONGRINGDIGADINGDIGADINGDINGDING but the jumps in Challenge were really fun.

starmine:
Didn't impress me much. No doublesteps, but no crossovers or spins either, and some awkward jump leads.

Thunderbolt:
Overrated charts with patterning that's too ADD even for me.

Venus (Another Phaze mix):
Song choice. True-to-form Heavy chart. Beautiful Challenge chart.

I return to the slow BPM for a personal favorite song of mine. She's the most attractive girl on the block, the sluttiest tramp in the city, and the most vicious woman this side of the galaxy. She won't play nice with you. This chart steps away from my double-stepping experiments and instead focuses a little more on jumps and crossovers in rhythm. The slow BPM allows for incredibly rhythmic patterns, so be sure to keep an internal tempo!

o Also, xRGTMx? If there's album art for Psykotik Overload, I'd be more than happy to replace the one I currently have in favor of that one; I just chose Full Throttle's because I thought it went the best with the music, graphic-wise.
