It's slow because I don't feel like going through the hassle of compressing the file size. Kyzentun and I record just about the same length for the DDR videos but it takes him 15 minutes to upload a video because he compresses it.

yeah, I'm willing to put up with it. I'm lazy.

How do you compress a video?

Yeah, I always upload mine in .avi because that's my video camera's default file format.

Ask Kyzentun when he gets online. He uses some program there. All I remember is that it's easy to use.

I just use Windows Movie Maker to compress my videos, but they come out a crappier quality, which I don't mind.

...i just learned that my videos have HD on it...

...the next set of videos that i do will be HD, plus now that my older brother's girlfriend moved the PS2 to the living room (because she doesn't want to play DDR in my room ), i will now play the songs on my huge ass HDTV...which apparently has no lag for the game O.o (there may be a lag, but i can probably fix it).

Onto a question: does it take longer to upload a HD video than a regular video?

My video camera are in MOD form, so I have to change it to MPG, I cant edit it on WMM cause it will screw up so I have to wait till I get a new computer to install Adobe Primere Elements 7

Oh, and China has been attacking me a lot lately. I've been cut by a chipped edge of a plate 3 times, two on my right hand (one on the space between my thumb and my index finger, and another on my middle finger) and one on my left hand (dead center of my palm).
It's no big deal except that it burns when I dip my hands in soapy water so I can't do the dishes in one sitting.

It could be that he rated you a 5 and now that it lost weight due to his losing 100 points, your rating dropped with it. That would account for 20 or 30 points and the rest is just your rating fluctuating.

My camera saves .mov in 640x480. Usually ends up 100-120MB for a 2 minute video.
I use avidemux2 to convert it to flv and scale it down to 320x240. Then it's usually 15-20MB. It actually only takes 7-10 minutes for the video to upload, then 15-20 for youtube to process it to make it live.
All videos I upload are public from the start. I don't see the point what silenttype01 does.

How long it takes to upload is completely unrelated to youtube's uploader. It doesn't matter what website you upload to, you will (almost) always get the same upload speed.
This is because the limiting factor on your upload speed is at your end: your internet connection. Most ISPs provide a connection to home users that has a high download speed, and a comparatively low upload speed. They do that because people download far more than they upload, so it makes sense to allocate resources accordingly. So if you want a better upload speed, get a job and help your parents pay for it. (assuming they didn't already get the best available in the area) (assuming you're living with your parents, which is likely given the common ages for this site)
