Just a random dumb thought...

After a quick search, apparently Himiko was a legendary Japanese empress.

Which made me think, since the themes of the stages in EMPRESS PLACE are based of actual queens/empresses, do you think Himiko is the title of the actual song or the song's theme (like Black Room, or AREA 15) mistaken for it's title?

Himiko was a Japanese Empress during the Wa Period. Which was a long time ago when Japan was still ruled by China.

Things have escalated. Everyone can lambaste KONAMI for this, but as much as I don't like it, I agree with their decision. They want to keep the game fun by keeping things secret. Now, when THEY blow it, that's their fault, but this year we have people ripping songs before they're even unlocked and posting them on YouTube. We also seem to have a "complete soundtrack" from line-outs earlier than ever before this year. Honestly, I'm shocked how quickly it all came out. If I were KONAMI, I'd be pretty concerned and unhappy about this.

Regular game videos that aren't line-out are in no danger; sound quality is crap. I'm sure uploading these videos once EMPRESS is fully unlocked and the soundtrack has been released will be no problem, but until then, I understand why they do this. They're not trying to oppress the fans, they're trying to oppress the blatant piracy of their music months before it's supposed to be available for personal consumption. Downplay it as much as you like; the sound quality was very clean and for many people will be sufficient until the OST is released.

People can go wah-wah konami is suck =( all they want, but, as much as a "pro-distribution and liberal copyright law" person as I am, I draw the line at unreleased material. I love doskoislayer's videos, I love having the line-outs, but I realize that yes, this is seriously circumventing KONAMI's plan for this game and its soundtrack.

I will say that, suspending doskoislayer's account was overkill. Not necessary. And if they remove videos of games long since released (i.e. IIDX GOLD), then, well, I'll have a less favourable opinion of their actions. But that remains to be seen.

Oops, KONAMI has suspended EMPRESS PLACE until the 8th for an online update due to a bug that's causing the game to freeze.

Official OSTs in v0 320kbps are delicious. So I wouldn't miss out buying the OSTs either.

FLAC is more delicious than v0, but I'd prefer to order a physic release (I have to save money for that).
