Really?!? I'm completely shocked about this. I recall that after roppongi's 4 versions were freely selectable, people here made a big deal about how EES was "now" forced on a random version, as if it had not been forced earlier. Dr.D even made a video showing it, saying something like "oh look, now you can't pick any other song". Come to think of it though, I can't find any videos of people selecting different songs for EES, although I can find plenty such videos for SN2 and X1.

I thought all those Extra Tour conditions were removed once those songs became playable on a "regular" Extra Stage. If not, then would you just simply be unable to unlock EES on that credit if you haven't played all 4 Evolved songs? On a vaguely related note, is it true that (after playing all 4 Evolved songs) AA'ing an Evolved song with the WAVE mod on will not unlock EES? Is this a tsunami reference?

Jeez, Extra Stage conditions sure become rather complicated starting with SN2.

I seem to recall the same thing about roppongi on X2. I've seen that video by Dr. D as well.

I might get my friend to show it... but I dunno who can AA KIMONO PRINCESS on ES on a JP X2 cab. There's still some in Indonesia

I distinctly recall that by the time I got here all the EVOLVEDs are already selectable on ES but I cannot get EES when I was playing by myself because I haven't played New York EVOLVED.
Also, yeah, playing the EVOLVEDs with WAVE will not get you EES even if you AA it. There was a video showing that but I don't know whether that is still true now. I might try to confirm that this weekend. Seems like it is a tsunami reference.

I thought it was a joke that playing Tohoku evolved on Wave was impossible because of the placement of the speedup on the first arrow: it effectively became invisible. Are there any videos of this? I saw a video where someone commented ironically about Wave, but that's all I've heard of it.

Keep in mind that we are talking about playing the ES with WAVE, not the EES. I might try playing the EES with WAVE too lol

X3 is not fully unlocked. We are still waiting on the full unlock of all the EVOLVED songs, TRIP MACHINE EVOLUTION, PARANOiA Revolution, and LOVE IS THE POWER -Re:born-. And they are taking their sweet freaking time with that.

I'm dying to see Tohoku Evolved S-. Though if the difference between D- and D- is an indicator of how different it will be on singles, it seems like it will only be slightly harder without anything rediculous.

Hoping LOVE IS THE POWER Re:born will receive a Challenge chart but I don't see it happening but we'll see.

Then again after a lot of plays of Beautiful Recipt on Reflec Beat, I think it should also get a Challenge chart but yeah not happening.

well the ratings for tohoku evolved doubles is an 18. I assume it will also be an 18 on Singles as well.
