I'm not sure. There seems to be only one video of it (on YouTube at least), and that's the Challenge Double chart. Somebody really needs to answer this question.

IIRC, the Evolved songs were unlocked by a glitch. They were locked again shortly after.

Any news about the X3 rips so far?

Those are fanmade simfiles. They do not use official graphics (aside from jackets supplied by the X3 website), completely accurate stepcharts (most are transcribed from gameplay footage) or audio from the arcade (certain tracks from the OST). Almost everything in the official categories is the real deal.

It's a good start, and likely all we'll have for the time being. Remember that every single "official" simfile is fanmade. Only recently, and still only selectively, are those files assembled with data that came straight from the official titles.

What happens if you get to Love is the Power -Re:born-'s EES, then pick a different song? Will that other song still fail you on one great?

Really? I'm almost positive EES on X2 was not forced until the game was fully unlocked, and no one ever mentioned a forced EES for X3 until now.

Let me get this straight:
(Assume all games are fully unlocked except X3)
On MAX1, ES is forced on MAX 300. OMES is forced on Candy*.
On MAX2, ES is forced on Maxx Unlimited. OMES is forced on Kakumei.
On EX, ES is only forced on (and the 1.5x reverse no-recover mods). If you select and AA The legend of MAX, you unlock OMES which is forced on Dance Dance Revolution.
On SN1, ES is only forced on 1.5x rainbow reverse no-recover. If you select and pass (for HDV) or A (for Faxx/Felm) the designated red song, you unlock OMES which is forced on CHAOS.
On SN2, you can get ES by getting a AA on either a Random song or the special red FS song. You can get EES by getting an AA on either a Random song or the special red ES song. Only the special red FS, special red ES, and special red EES are forced on a difficulty; if you choose Random, you can technically play any difficulty you want and still unlock the next extra stage. (What are the special red songs for each stage, now that the game is fully unlocked?)
On X1, you can no longer unlock the next extra stage with Random. No songs are forced, although difficulties are (based on the total feet difficulty of previous songs). Special red FS is On the Break, ES is Saber Wing and/or its AIH mix, and EES is Horatio, on the bounce, and/or Trigger. You can still make the X-Specials red for ES/EES if you meet their unlock conditions, even though all songs have now been fully unlocked.
On X2, Replicant D-Action is now permanently locked since the game has been fully unlocked. ES is not forced, although Kimono Princess is the special red song and is forced on a particular difficulty based on the difficulty of previous songs. If Kimono Princess was forced on and you AA that, you will unlock EES, which is now forced on a random version of Roppongi Evolved . Before X2 was fully unlocked, the EES was freely selectable.

Currently on X3, the special Extra Stage songs are the four new Evolved songs (forced on a particular difficulty?), but you can choose your ES song. If you pick an Evolved song and AA it on , you'll unlock EES which is forced on Tohoku Evolved. If you've met the unlock requirements, you can also play TMEvo or PRevo on various unlocked difficulties. Pick one of those an AA it on to unlock an EES forced on LitPR where 1 great causes a fail.
Also, there's no way to answer this question right now, but I wonder what the special red ES and EES for X3 will be once it is fully unlocked?

No, you can only play the difficulty in which the red songs are available. e.g. You got an A on DIFFICULT on all the previous stages, on FS if you RANDOM, only AA on DIFFICULT will get you ES. AAing EXPERT won't get you ES.

All the red songs, with one turning white each step. On ES, Unreal is not red, on EES, NGO is not red. (I might be wrong, but it follows the order of the songs)

You can still get ES by picking RANDOM for FINAL STAGE. You can't get EES with RANDOM though.
Also, either you play On the Break, RANDOM or the Xmixes. You will still need to follow the difficulty requirement though.

Difficulties are forced but not determined that way. The difficulty level you played on On the Break is the difficulty level you have to play on ES and EES. The total feet difficulty determines the song that shows, which follows the 13 x stages + 1 formula. If you satisfy this before ES, you can play SWAIH mix. If you still satisfy this on EES, you can play Trigger. It is possible to satisfy that condition on ES but not on EES.

nope, the total difficulty on the previous stages only determines the highest level available. For EXPERT it is 13 x stages + 1. If you play a set of 13, 13 and 14, KIMONO PRINCESS will be available up to EXPERT (i.e. on all difficulties).
