D, do you have a Dazzlin' Darlin video? I did not recieve one on YouTube.

FIRE FIRE is done by the way. I alluded to the chart in a previous post saying that it was a little awkward in the second half. I no longer feel this is the case. I have a hard time reading some crossovers/turns when they are coming at me at full speed, so I lowered the speed down to 0.6x and what do you know, I did them perfectly.

Anyways, here it is. I quite like it, I don't know about anyone else:

No dazzlin darling. Its the only new song video I did not play. Like I said, most people dont seem to like that chart very much so I rarely see anyone play it too often. I`ll try today but no promise. Thanks for stepping those.

Oh what... Dr.D's videos still are denying me with that one account. Now I can't remember my password, lol. Oh sweet, I figured it out. I'll just wait for the simfiles then...

Also I'm getting a "File not found" for all of the sitesled files, so if you could upload all of them to your simfiles it would be very much appreciated.


This is what I had in mind for them too. A chart like Lemmings on the Run Expert would even be easier than in ITG because the timing window for shocks is really small (and you get life for avoiding them). You don't have to avoid the whole graphic, just the center of the arrow (so it's like jumping rope) - you can even land when the arrow is still over the targets, since it will only register in that one place. It seems like it's around the Great and Perfect window, rather than the Good window in ITG. At least, that's the impression I got from playing Disturbia Oni on pad. Ironic that one of those silly FC missions would get me to like shocks =P

Anyway if they made more use of them and put them in other charts, I'd like to see a Shocks On/Off option like they did for Freezes. If they were really zealous they could make an option so the shocks turn into another arrow (sort of like Jump1) so you could still get the full score for the song.

Oh Dr.D, I just thought of something. What ever happened to step code mods? I really miss that feature from Extreme.

IMO, I don't think they ever used the Shock Arrows sensibly. (For lack of better word)

Have you seen the shock arrows on Pluto The First ? That was absolutely horrendous.

I say do away with them completely.

There sure is a lot more doublestepping than needed in X2, honestly. Fire Fire's chart would be great without them, as would basically all other charts that I've played on X2CS. Great great charts but needs less doublestepping :< Not every chart has to have Afronova spins, Konami =/

Second Heaven's chart appears to have suffered the same fate FIRE FIRE's chart did.
So much for having 13/14-foot ratings, and we get charts that are double-stepped.

Has anyone actually tried FIRE FIRE? There's just about no double stepping at all. Second Heaven is in no way comparable; FIRE FIRE flows pretty much entirely on alternating feet. Hell, there's not even corkscrews, it's just crossovers, and not even that many. It's really a great chart.

Double steps? I played both charts without have to hit double steps.

Im online now at the airport. Just a few things.

I am not going to go public with my videos for a while do to pressure from many people. I will allow Pie to step them so then everyone can play them. Other than that I can select a few people to view them through my friends list, up to 25.

I got the final chart on video today, dazzlin darling expert. I think I also got second heaven on difficult. I also got a far better video of second heaven which should be look at closely to see if the step file needs fixing.
I suggest someone playing and recording them on step mania and then uploading them to youtube.

Also U-san was not here today so I was not able to talk to anyone from Konami. I did talk to Disney again and told him what I wanted to add and he said he will give the message to the director.

Pie, I will have the video of dazzling darling etc...online when I get back home which will be in like 6 hours from now.

whether you think Fire Fire has double steppings or not is not opinion-based, that's just the awkward way you've chosen to play.
Fire Fire's chart is extremely well done and flows great. It transitioned from IIDX a lot better than I thought it would, considering recent step charts in DDR.

It is definitely a good chart. Very impressed.
I don't think I'd be able to properly motivate those full turns, but it's got excellent flow and fits the music.
