The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

I learned this the hard way. I played smooooch Double Expert a dozen times or something and although improved to a full combo, never beat my past score of 985,xxx (in fact regressed down to like 980,xxx). in addition to draining all my stamina since this chart is ridiculous to play no-bar (at least for me).

I'm going to destroy this song next time I go to Round1.

I got it on my first try of that day too. . I just hope I never have to play that shit again. Again, for those of you who have never played the post DDR X version of Mikeneko rock I encourage you to see for yourself the difficulty in PFCing it. Aaron, whats the best you've managed on this train wreck? I know you've got it on Extreme, right?

Last night I got a Full Combo on DIVA & Best Difficult/Double - 100 Greats (1562 Max Combo IIRC).

Leetle sore this morning, as it had been almost two weeks since I touched a DDR machine. :x

Miss was in the most expected part. haha, its funny cause I usually never miss that jump. Oh well. At least now I'm determined. I'll try today and all this week. I also got one great on Mei again, this time was 2nd last step haha. Addtionally I got 1 great on NGO again in the last stream. I've been choking quite a bit recently, its too bad.

Anyways, I'm actually traveling down south of taiwan this weekend to visit 513 where he lives. I plan on taking quite a few videos of him playing a getting some sick scores.

Something kinda funny... When I originally told 513 I was visiting him in Kaoshuing he told me that coincidentally there happened to be a DDR X2 tournament event that day. I got excited and asked to sign up. The reply I got was a strongly suggesting I did not enter cause it would upset many local players there who have a chance if 513 and I dont enter. In short I'm not entering but I just found it funny cause this is the first time I've ever been asked not to enter a tournament based on skill.

Edit: I just checked the DDR X Special site and it seems they no longer display IR rankings. I was going to show that I've PFC a good majority of the IR courses back in DDR X1. Well, you can still look at X2 though I have fewer here than I did on X1.

Ah, no problems, DDR game scores seem to have a really short life-span. That's cool though, those would be interesting videos to watch IMO.

And today was a pretty good DDR day for me. I set multiple records for myself.

CAN'T STOP FALLIN' IN LOVE (SPEED MIX) - AAA (Double/Expert) 103 Perfects, 3 Greats. Third X2 Triple A and a new personal best.

Reach Up - AAA (Double/Expert) 59 Perfects, 2 Greats. This one surprised me, I have a grand total of two genuine AAA on Expert in all of DDR, and neither are on Doubles. And I have never gotten anywhere close to this kind of score on this song before (998,000 and some change). Sooooo close!

I also managed to pull off a ~970,000 AA sight read of Decade Double/Expert too. First time ever playing that song on any level or style.

I had a good evening. Japanese players were pretending not to watch me. ;P

Good stuff Aeron, you can shoot for the PFC on both CSFILSM and ReachUp.
