WOW!? Doskoislayers account on YouTube has been suspended and all of his Tatsujin's of him playing empress have been taken down due to copyright claim by Konami, and so has almost every close up gameplay of empress as well. Damn it!

seriously, i don't get what the problem is. konami might as well take down every MGS video on youtube. how does it violate their copyright? it's a gameplay video... you get them for all games. what a bunch of anal dicks.

All EMPRESS videos have been taken off of youtube and users have been banned.

What's worst of all is that the low-quality camcorder captures stay up while the high-quality videos suffer.

That's unfair to those who paid more to record their gameplay.

Rockstar was a bit more strict with GTA IV, where even camcorder videos weren't allowed; but yeah, seems like MP3 ripping is the issue here. Has anything happened to people that upload DDR songs to YouTube though?

The only people who have ever gone after me for uploads are Avex, and my uploads are almost exclusively DDR songs.

The line-outs have already been made public already. I have them and a bunch of other people do too. Konami will probably want the sites with those taken off too.

Well, technically, it's not youtube's fault. It's the corporations who own rights pushing youtube to remove the videos otherwise shit will happen to them. So it's not that they want to remove the videos, it's that their ass is fried if they don't.

YouTube's so popular, it's pretty much a household name. Nico ain't, so it would be worth getting all pissy to them when they have bigger fish to fry. Still, no reason to do it in the first place.
